The reigning and defending NWA World Women’s Champion Santana Garrett made her third successful title defense this past Saturday at the I Believe in Wrestling event in Orlando defeating Stormie Lee. Santana put out the challenge on YouTube that she wanted to defend more:
Former NWA World Women’s Champion Lexie Fyfe acknowledged the request the other day and after Shine and NWA officials spoke, they came to an agreement. Fyfe’s comments:
The NWA title will be on the line at Shine Wrestling’s next iPPV event SHINE 25 against “Portugal’s Perfect Athlete” Shanna. If successful, Santana has many more challengers ahead. Others such as Jessicka Havok, Ivelisse Velez, and even former NWA World Women’s Champion Leilani Kai, who was stripped of the title in 2004, have expressed interest in facing Santana for the NWA title.

Also, Santana’s modeling career has been very busy. She was offers a couple modeling and fitness contracts but will not be signing any due to her continued wrestling commitments.
