WWE SmackDown 07 02 2015

WWE SmackDown
Location: Toledo, OH
Date: July 2, 2015
Commentators: Tom Phillips, Jerry Lawler, and Jimmy Uso

We start off with a look back at what happened on Raw with Seth Rollins and the Authority as well as what happened with Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose when they faced Seth and Kane in the main event.

We are in Hershey, Pennsylvania and your announcers are Tom Phillips, Jerry Lawler, and Jimmy Uso.

Seth Rollins comes to the ring with Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble.

Seth says in today’s fast paced culture everyone is in a hurry to get where they are going. It is a shame that you cannot get there in style because his boys will be riding around in a new 2015 Cadillac CTS that he got for them on Raw. His generation is up on technology, looking for the newest thing, like Apple Watches. Seth tells Jamie to cover up what he has on his watch.

Seth says that he is eager to talk about the future and the next big thing, but we need to focus on the present. We are living in historic times. The world is changing before our eyes. Our children’s children will want to know what was it like to be in such a historic era. Think about your grandchildren asking you Joey what was it like to be around when Seth Rollins destroyed Roman Reigns and torched the Roman Empire? What about when they ask Uncle Jamie if he remembered where he was when Seth Rollins reunited the Authority and burned Suplex City to the ground?

We see the footage from two weeks ago when the Authority attacked Brock Lesnar.

Seth says he never gets tired seeing that. In two weeks, he decimated the two men who were in the main event of Wrestlemania. He cemented himself as the greatest superstar of his generation, if not the entire history of the WWE. He conquered the conqueror. He beat down the one in twenty-one and one. He slayed the beast, Paul Heyman’s client, Brock Lesnar. On Raw, he did the same thing to Roman Reigns. Roman couldn’t hang with Joey’s power. Jamie was too tenacious for Roman and you still have three broken ribs. There is no way that Roman can measure up to a legend like Kane.

While all of this was going on, Roman’s brother Dean Ambrose was left lying in a heap outside the ring. Bray Wyatt set them up and we knocked it down. Bray was like a buzzard going after the bones.

The crowd chants ‘Suplex City’ and Seth says that he knows the Authority is nothing, if not fair. Before Kane went to Tokyo to oversee the special event on the WWE Network, he made sure that Dean and Roman would be afforded the opportunity for payback tonight. Dean Ambrose will face Bray Wyatt. Roman Reigns, in tonight’s main event, goes one on one with me.

Seth says that is if Roman decides to show up tonight. No one has seen or heard from Roman since Monday.

Dean Ambrose’s music interrupts and he makes his way to the ring, but he stops halfway on the ramp and he goes back to the entrance. Dean comes back and he has a kendo stick and he goes to the ring. Ambrose sends Mercury to the floor and Rollins hits Ambrose from behind. Ambrose kicks Mercury and then he swings wildly in the ring as Seth, Joey, and Jamie get out of the ring.

Rich Brennan wants comments from Mark Henry. Ryback put his name in his mouth and he is going to leave a bad taste in. He disrespected using the name Big Show or Mark Henry. Maybe he has amnesia from the whipping he took last week. Ryback bit off more than he can chew. If Ryback thinks for one second he can put him up, he is out of his mind.
