Alan J. Wojcik: You earned your way into the Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup by defeating Brandon Thomaselli and PT Hussla. What did you know of the tournament and the person it is named for?

Billy Roc: I know the tournament is very prestigious. Just look at the past wrestlers, Jimmy Jacobs, Petey Williams, Arik Cannon, Milano Collection AT, the list goes on and on. I’m very honored to be apart of this tournament. Unfortunately, I never knew Jeff Peterson. I watched tapes of him before I broke into the business. I was telling Chad Collyer the other day about myself and the JPC and he was telling me about being in the ECWA Super 8 with Jeff. I wish I could have met him.

Alan J. Wojcik: Its ironic you won a three way match to enter the JPC and JPC committee announced your opening round opponents are Sal Rinauro and “Kool” Seth Delay. Do you think this is fair and how do you prepare for a contest with two opponents?

Billy Roc: As far as being fair……. I’m a very humble guy, I’m just happy to be in the tournament. I have watched a few tapes with Sal and Seth on them; I doubt they have done the same with me. Also in IWA-MS, I have been in a LOT of 3-way, 4-way, and multi-man matches. I am very prepared for this match.

Alan J. Wojcik: The three way match isn’t the only first in the JPC, the addition of Allison Danger is also a first. Most competitors have said they wouldn’t treat her any different than a gentleman. If you faced her in the later rounds, what does Billy Roc do against Allison Danger?

Billy Roc: Not underestimate her. I have seen Allison wrestle and she is very good at what she does. She just better not underestimate me.

Alan J. Wojcik: By being your partner in a tag team match on the 5/11 NWA Midwest/FSM event, Trik Davis earned his way into the JPC along with a birth in the NWA Indiana State Tag Team title tournament. Is it in the back of your mind that in helping Davis

enter you could be his roadblock to JPC glory?

Billy Roc: Very much!!! I’m happy for us and we are tag team (Threat Level Midnight), I’m also happy for Trik being in the tourney as well, but, Trik and I are pretty much the same wrestler. We both have a British and Lucha influence in are wrestling styles………I think if we wrestle each other in the tourney…..the one who makes the 1st mistake will lose.

Alan J. Wojcik: Working with WLW means you worked with 7-time NWA World Heavyweight champion Harley Race. Talk about that experience if you will.

Billy Roc: I only did a training seminar with WLW and Harley Race. Anytime you can learn from a legend, its quiet an honor.

Alan J. Wojcik: Your Myspace page indicates training with another former NWA World Heavyweight champion Dory Funk Jr. Please talk about your experiences working at the Funkin’ Conservatory.

Billy Roc: I did a couple of camps when I first broke into the business. I learned the basics and what not. I try to gain as much knowledge as I can from wrestlers before me. I have done seminars with Terry Taylor, Scott D’Amore, Chad Collyer and Mike Quackenbush. Each wrestler has taught me something different.

Alan J. Wojcik: You have been working for almost all the Indiana-based promotions operating. Do you have one you consider your home promotion and is there one you would never work for again?

Billy Roc: I actually have 2. The 1st one is NWA-Indiana, who I will be representing in the JPC. They were the 1st promotion to put me in the ring with some top Independent talent, like, Chad Collyer, Colt Cabana and Nate Webb and see if I would sink or swim. The 2nd is Insanity Pro Wrestling, who I will be representing in the Chikara Young Lions tournament in June. It’s just a very fun place to work with great fans.

Alan J. Wojcik: You have recently worked for the indy fave Ring of Honor. How did you come to work for them and what are your feelings overall on the product that will make a PPV debut on July 1st?

Billy Roc: I did work a couple of “show case” matches for ROH in Minnesota and Chicago. I have some friends who work for ROH who put in a good word for me. I think overall ROH is a GREAT alternative to anything on TV. I’m sure they will have a lot of success with PPV.

Alan J. Wojcik: Who runs your website and for fans that haven’t been to it, talk about the contents and your level of control over the site.

Billy Roc: I run my own website. It’s not a big deal. But, it’s enough to let the fans get to know me a little bit better. You can see it at billyroc.com.4t.com.
