Hello everyone and welcome to your Indy Wrestle Line Independent report I am the Weekend Warrior Randy Klemme.

———————————

Hopefully everyone had a great Thanksgiving holiday

Thanks to all who left comments on the Roddy Piper situation at EWF. I understand from a message from the promoter, that Piper is sending some items for those that attended the show and claims he was confused as to what he was supposed to do at the show resulting in him leaving early. Thanks to Jeff in Indianapolis for his thoughts on the show as he was there in attendance. Angel Man, not sure why you leftn your opinion because you admitted you weren’t an independent wrestling fan, so your opinion was pretty much ignored…and Johnny Black, glad you claim you talked to Piper but I don’t agree with what you said from talking to the promoter of the show. Also thanks to the person who left Roddy Piper’s ring music on the hotline. I used to like Piper, but I have a totally different view of him now….

I am still looking for information on former WWA and WWF wrestler Tom Lynch. If anyone knows anything about him these days, please leave any info after this report….

Not alot of wrestling news to report on, however we did want to highlight the FINAL show for NWA-Indiana in Lafayette, Indiana. The show took place on Wednesday evening at the Lyn Treece Boys and Girls Club and featured the return of a legend, “Boogie Woogie Man” Jimmy Valiant to NWA-Indiana.

In the results for the show–

Jeremy Hadley defeated Bret Havoc

Brian Roberts defeated Joey “Don’t Call Me Indiana Kidd Jr” Owens

Martin Fernandez/Johnny Rich/Justin Andrews/Marc Houston defeated Disco Stu/Luis Rojas/Niko Killawaya/Dustin Frost in 8 man tag team action

Metal Master defeated Kenny Courageous to retain the NWA Indiana Title

PT Hustla defeated Devon Fury

Guy Lombardo & Jimmy “Boogie Woogie Man” Valiant defeated Billy Bart & Rob Ramer by double submission

and it was “Pure Dynamite” Billy Roc defeating “Sexy” Shawn Cook

It is very sad to hear that NWA-Indiana is closing their doors as they put on one of the best independent shows in the state of Indiana….

BUT with NWA-Indiana closing, there is an announcement of an all new organizations set to start up in early 2008…

WWA-Indianapolis has announced they will begin running shows in March, and have already put together an impressive list of talent. The first show will be a benefit for the PMD Foundation with $3 of every ticket sold going to the charity. More information as to date, location and card will be coming very soon from WWA-Indianapolis.

Indiana Indy Star Drake Younger is busy in Germany this weekend on a card for WXW spreading the word about the Naptown Dragons…
