– The Rebel” Jeremy Wyatt vs. Maddog McDowell – 3XW Heavyweight title match!

DES MOINES, Iowa – After five years and 61 events, Des Moines-based 3XWrestling (3XW) is proud to present its biggest event to date as it holds its 5 Year Anniversary Event on July 9 at the Des Moines Social Club, the most exciting venue for professional wrestling in the United States!

Featuring some of the most talented wrestlers in the United States, the 5 Year Anniversary Event is scheduled to feature a variety of compelling matches. Highlights of the eight match card includes traditional top-notch six-man tag team action, a title unification bout, two of the best in the Midwest this decade battling one-on-one and the return of a ladder match to 3XW!

The main event features “The Rebel” Jeremy Wyatt, the longest-reigning 3XW Heavyweight champion, defending the championship against his top rival Rory Fox in 3XW’s wildest and most dangerous environment – a ladder match!

A ladder match featuring Wyatt at the 4 Year Anniversary Event in July 2009 was voted by fans at http://www.3XWrestling.com as the “Match of the Year” and with Fox – a national star featured on MTV and WWE programming who resides in Des Moines – thrown into the mix, the match could go down as one of the all-time great battles in the history of the city!

A highlight video of the history of Wyatt and Fox’s rivalry will be available soon at http://www.3XWrestling.com.

The 5 Year Anniversary Event will also feature four major returns in six-man tag team action. Wildly popular fan favorites The Northstar Express (Darin Corbin and Ryan Cruz) and “The Anarchist” Arik Cannon make their first appearance in 3XW in a year to battle The Gentlemen’s Club in six-man tag team action. In breaking news, Gage Octane seriously aggravated a back injury in training for this bout. 3XW Commissioner Todd Countryman, the leader of the Gentlemen’s Club, announced that a past 3XW star will be replacing Octane for this bout and will join 3XW Tag Team champions “Delicious” Devin Carter and Casanova to challenge the internationally-traveled Minnesotans. Just who will be joining the Gentlemen’s Club on July 9? Visit http://www.3XWrestling.com for more information.

History will be made when the 3XW Cruiserweight and Pure Wrestling titles will be unified when “The Rockstar” Jimmy Rockwell battles archrival “The Viking Warrior” Kraig Keesaman one-on-one. Rockwell, a mega-popular high-flying competitor and two-time Cruiserweight champion, is aiming to earn the biggest victory of his career against Keesaman, who has not been pinned or submitted in 24 months of 3XW competition and has held the Pure Wrestling title since August 2009.

Two of the greats of the Midwest over the last decade battle one-on-one for the first time in three years when 275 lbs. powerhouse Brian Ash battles technical wrestling master Mark Sterling. Ash, representing the Gentlemen’s Club, hopes to gain revenge for his teammate Gage Octane against former Gentlemen’s Club member Sterling, the man who recently injured Octane at the hands of his Markshooter submission hold.

Other scheduled bouts include:
