CWF MID-ATLANTIC’S TV TAPING THIS SATURDAY, JULY 28th IN BURLINGTON, NC

* GIANT CONFRONTATION! STAR RETURNS? AWA TITLE CONTROVERSY! HUGE MATCHES!

CWF Mid-Atlantic returns to the Carolina Sports Arena in Burlington, NC this Saturday, July 28th, with a 7:30pm belltime. This is a full card of great action all taped for television! All bouts are sanctioned by the AWA, the American Wrestling Association.

Rumors have been swirling for weeks as AWA President William L. Cross has stated to Commissioner Ty Dillinger that he wanted control of his company back. Dillinger and his gang, now unofficially known as the  VIPs, literally stole the company in February at the War Games event.  Since that time, Dillinger has proven that he is only out to protect the VIPs, and all other wrestlers now feel like they are all being mistreated by Dillinger’s handling of the company.

Right off the bat, I want to give two special shout-outs:
 
1. First, to former-XPW star Steve Rizzono, who has been having very severe health problems (especially with his back) since 2003 which have made basic daily tasks extremely difficult to perform. This past week, Rizzono received major spinal surgery. Two ligaments were removed. He is currently recovering in the hospital and is in the process of learning to walk again. More spinal surgery is likely. Brain surgery may have to be done down the line as well. Everybody please keep Steve in your prayers.
 
2. Second, to former-XPW King of the Deathmatch Altar Boy Luke (Luke Hawx) who appeared on SmackDown! a few weeks ago against Chuck Palumbo. Congratulations!
