Blain Rage became the Number one Contender for the Funking Conservatory World Championship and earned the right to face the Champion, Shane Chung tonight.
In a hard fought battle, Blain Rage wins over Shane Chung to become the new Funking Conservatory World Champion. After the match with both men exhausted, Elvis Sharp entered the ring and blasted both men with Blain Rages newly won World Championship belt challenging Blain Rage for a Title Match on the next !BANG! TV Taping, Sunday March 23rd.
First, a thought on the continual efforts of State Athletic Commissions to sanitize wrestling for your protection. TNA was forced this past week to tape the Barbed Wire Massacre match for the February 10 Against All Odds PPV in Greenville, SC… at their TV taping in Orlando, FL (where Abyss defeated Judas Mesias in a no ropes barbed wire match).

I just got back from the Royal Rumble at MSG and it was one of the hottest and loudest WWE shows I’ve ever been to. The crowd was hot for literally everything.

On January 22nd, ‘Wrestling Weekly’ hosts Doc Young and Les Thatcher were joined by Bryan Alvarez for ‘Hot Topic’ and their featured guest, one-half of the Ring of Honor tag team champions, Jimmy Jacobs. Les begins the interview by asking Jimmy when he won the tag team titles. Jacobs responded by saying it was in New York at the end of September. Les talks about the upcoming ROH show in Dayton, Ohio and asks who Jimmy will be wrestling. Jimmy Jacobs said Tyler Black will be facing ‘American Dragon’ Bryan Danielson and that he’ll be wrestling with a new mystery member of the ‘Age of the Fall’ against Roderick Strong & Rocky Romero. Doc asks for a hint who the mystery wrestler is. Jimmy says that he’s held a title in another company & fans would know him from national TV.
