DISCLAIMER: The following are my uncensored thoughts on Pro Wrestling shows I have attended in the month of February. As I no longer have time for full reports this will be my way of talking about UK Wrestling from now on. Our resident philosopher, Jay Shannon, looks at the action and drama of another episode of the Tuesday Night Delight, ECW
ECW rolled out the red carpet for the VIP Lounge. Well, at least it’s not the Dirt Sheet. Also, Evan Bourne and Tyson Kidd squared off in a tag team match. Let’s look at all the fun and craziness.
ECW was almost live from Kansas City. Striker and Grisham talked about the VIP Lounge. Before that, Miz and Morrison came to the ring. They had Nikki Bella at their side. ECW flashed back to the confrontation between Miz/Morrison and the Colons. Brie got a face full of apple, by accident. The Bellas went into a Cat Fight that had to make Joey Styles smile. On the other side of the coin, Carlito, with Primo and Brie Bella, came out to battle. Carlito was wearing a Smackdown T-shirt.

Alan Wojcik: What made you wake up one day and say I want to be a professional wrestler and talk about training for the business under Jason Knight at the Power Station.
Mercedes Martinez: I had no intention of actually becoming a pro wrestler but at that time I was playing basketball for college and got hurt. I always been a huge fan of wrestling so when I found out there was a wrestling school in my hometown, I had to check it out. I knew who Jason Knight was so I knew that if I was really going to train, then I was in the right place. It took off from there and it hasn’t stopped since…lolAlan Wojcik: What does your family think of your wrestling career?
ROH 7th Anniversary Show fan report

Opening contest, Rhett Titus and Kenny King vs. Erick Stevens and Roderick Strong. A solid opener that saw nice pacing a good series of spots. Titus and King are going to do well in ROH in the future as a tag team, but this evening belonged to Chooch and Strong. In the end, Chooch hit’s the Doctor Bomb for the win on the now Addicted to Vicodin Rhett Titus.

Our resident philosopher, Jay Shannon, profiles the new United States champion who beat all the odds, both inside and outside the ring, to become a top WWE superstar.
No one gave MVP a chance of taking the US, this close to Wrestlemania. Add to the equation that JBL had just taken the Intercontinental title,one week earlier. MVP surprised everyone on the 500th edition of Smackdown by cleanly pinning Shelton Benjamin to take the US strap. MVP’s win, as well as his years of dedication, have earned MVP this week’s OWW Wrestler of the Week award.
