How to Fix TNA
The Katz Files – Arnie Katz
How to ‘Fix’ TNA
The Kingfish Arnie Katz offers some suggestions for improving the impact of North America’s number-two pro wrestling promotion.
Before getting to my suggestions for increasing TNA’s show and its profitability, let’s tackle the question of whether the promotion even needs fixes. TNA management would say, at least for public consumption, that things have never been better for the second-largest wrestling promotion.
It’s all a matter of perspective. iMPACT has set records several times in recent weeks. Yet a look at the actual rating shows that TNA’s flagship is doing about as well as ECW on Sci-Fi. That’s not terrible, but it certain indicates that there is room for a lot more growth. And growth is going to result from improving the product.
The TNA pay per view picture is bleak. Data s in short supply, but TNA’s pay per views garner less than one-tenth the number of subscribes as the WWE events. That’s a poor showing and, as with broadcast ratings, leaves plenty of room for improvement.

ECW (5/19) Extreme Exam

The ECW (5/19) Extreme Exam
Our resident philosopher looks at the Tuesday Night Delight…ECW
Christian defied the odds to keep his title in an epic battle against Jack Swagger. Jack was not happy and he would tell the world all about it. Also, Zack Ryder and David Hart Smith made great impacts on the Land of Extreme.
Jack Swagger was seated in the center of the ring, looking upset. He whined about the injustice he faced at Judgment Day. He swore he would not leave the ring until he got the justice he wanted. Refs came down to the ring to try and convince him to leave, but he wouldn’t. Jack told the refs to tell “Blondie” (Tiffany” that if she wanted him out of the ring, she could come out and tell him, herself.

What’s Ahead for TNA Stars?
On the eve of Sacrifice, The Kingfish Arnie Katz peeks into his crystal ball and forecasts the future careers of some of today’s best-known stars.
As TNA and its diehard fans prepare for the Sacrifice pay per view, my thoughts turn to the future. The TNA announcers so often tell us that this wrestler or that one is “the future of TNA” or “a champion in the making” or similar glib predictions.
This installment looks at the current TNA roster.

IWC SUPER INDY VIII: A Moment Seven Years In The Making Tarnished with Politics
by Joe Dombrowski, iwcmc_dombrowski@yahoo.com
The most unpredictable and perhaps emotional Super Indy tournament of all time took place May 15 & 16 from two important locations: The Court Time Sports Center in Elizabeth, Pa (site of Super Indy V & VII) and the White Oak Athletic Association (site of Super Indy II). It was the largest and most competitive field in history, and unfortunately would become the most mired in controversy.
