About the Report Cards
Each month, I issue a report card for RAW. I examine and grade the promotion in all the vital areas. I discuss strengths and weaknesses and chart the ups and downs. The grades in parentheses are for the previous report card.

This is the very first time I’ve done a Report Card for ECW. I didn’t like it much or watch it often, It just didn’t seem to make much difference in the overall WWE empire.

The “big trade,” which reassigned 15 wrestlers, coupled with the “superstar initiative,” has remade ECW overnight. And though it definitely is not as good as it was before the trade, it now has a much higher upside potential.

Our resident philosopher runs down all the action and adventure on the Tuesday Night Delight, ECW.

ECW ran a quartet of fantastic matches, this week. Several of the new kids got to shine, while Vladimir Kozlov made his intentions known, as it relates to the ECW strap. Let’s take a look.

Last week, Christian was able to defeat Vladimir Kozlov to get a title shot at Night of Champions. Kozlov dominated the majority of the match, but an accidental contact with an exposed turnbuckle allowed Christian to detonate the KillSwitch.

Dragon Gate USA is three months old today. Here is an article from www.DGUSA.tv looking at three great months:
 
Three months ago independent pro wrestling fans woke up to the biggest shock of the year as Dragon Gate USA was born. DGUSA’s launch seemed to come out of thin air. There was little known about the new promotion. Since April 15th you have been a part of this fledgling company as it grew with one surprising announcement and partnership after another. The best thing is that you can say you were there from the beginning. Here’s a quick recap of the first 12 crazy weeks of DGUSA:

OWW Wrestler of the Week — Tara
Our resident philosopher salutes the new TNA Knockout Champion, Tara.

On Thursday, Tara shocked the wrestling world by taking the Knockout title from Angelina Love. Tara, previously known as Victoria, re-invented herself and gave herself a new lease on her professional life. Tara is this week’s OWW Wrestler of the Week.
