RAW’s tribute to the late Lou Albano brought back many memories. It was one of the longest such salutes WWE has done and, in this case, it’s entirely fitting.
His zany character had almost as much to do with the transformation of the WWWF from a Northeast promotion to one that spanned North America as Hulk Hogan or Vince McMahon.

In May 2003 IPW Hardcore promoters created the JEFF PETERSON MEMORIAL CUP in tribute to the fallen cruiserweight star who passed in 2001 after a long battle with cancer. Since then the event has garnered a list of international stars who supported the event and honored Jeff’s memory by putting on five star caliber bouts. The previous winners were “Reckless Youth” Tom Carter, Justice, Chris Sabin, Milano Collection AT, Chris Hero & Erick Stevens. On November 20-21 sixteen men will come to Brooksville & Crystal River, Florida to try and join those names. Could this year’s winner be:

ECW continued to promote Sunday’s Bragging Rights PPV, even though they really don’t have a part in the show.
Abraham Washington said that he was hosting the show this week. Tony Atlas served to hype Washington’s ego. Chris Jericho interrupted the segment to look for Tiffany. Washington told Jericho that he would like him on his show. Jericho’s response was “I bet you would.” Jericho then walked off as the credits rolled.
