The Kingfish Arnie Katz wrestles with some of the major issues raise by the 10/12 episode of WWE’s Monday night TV show.

Bragging Rights
Since the interval between pay per view events is so short this time, WWE went into overdrive to rev up for Bragging Rights. The show features a seven-on-seven melee between representatives of RAW and Smackdown.

The attempt to build excitement was somewhat frustrated by the absence of Shawn Michaels. Hey tried to cover it with comedy, and a lame excuse, but it further trivialized a match that’s already more or less meaningless. No one’s going to buy the idea that the team that wins the match proves that their show is better; one thing doesn’t really connect to the other.

In May 2003 IPW Hardcore promoters created the JEFF PETERSON MEMORIAL CUP in tribute to the fallen cruiserweight star who passed in 2001 after a long battle with cancer. Since then the event has garnered a list of international stars who supported the event and honored Jeff’s memory by putting on five star caliber bouts. The previous winners were “Reckless Youth” Tom Carter, Justice, Chris Sabin, Milano Collection AT, Chris Hero & Erick Stevens. On November 20-21 sixteen men will come to Brooksville & Crystal River, Florida to try and join those names. Could this year’s winner be:

ECW (10/13) Examination
Our resident philosopher takes a look at the Tuesday Night Delight, ECW.

The Ruthless Roundtable returned to wreak havoc on ECW. The main event featured the ECW champ, Christian and Yoshi Tatsu v William Regal and Zack Ryder.

Ezekiel Jackson, along with Vladimir Kozlov, walked to the ring. Jackson was set to battle Goldust in the opening contest.
