Zack Ryder came out with Rosa Mendes. ECW looked at Zack beating Shelton Benjamin on last week’s Superstars. Rosa was able to help Zack defeat Shelton. Shelton then came from the back with a look of determination on his face.

Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup 2009 results

On Friday, November 20, 2009 the wrestling community came together once more for the Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup. The event was sponsored by Full Impact Pro and World Wrestling Network. Night one was held in Brooksville National Guard Armory, 16386 Springhill Drive in Brooksville, FL. Florida wrestling legend Tyree Pride and Hector Guerrero were in the audience. Dragons Gate USA Talent Relations representative Gabe Sapolsky was also there scouting the wrestlers.  (more…)

In 2003, The Wrestling Clothesline, being an avid supporter of women indy wrestling, decided to take the idea of ranking wrestlers in a slightly different direction. Since the WWE wasn’t taking women wrestling seriously and many promotions don’t give the ladies a second thought, someone has to give credit to those women who are working week in and week out, in the high school gyms and broken down Elk’s Lodges, for barely enough money to pay for gas and tolls.

 The entertainment business’ tradition of the comedy roast is decades old.  From Dean Martin and the Rat Pack, to the Friar’s Club, to today’s contemporary versions courtesy of Comedy Central and Howard Stern, legends of entertainment are subject to friendly skewering from their counterparts and comedians.  On October 23, Terry Funk was the subject of “Ring Roasts 2,” pro wrestling’s one and only version of this time-honored tradition, and today the DVD of the event has gone onsale at www.kayfabecommentaries.com.

Known as “The Scream Queen” with her banshee-like yelps inside the squared circle, Daffney has made her way from WCW, culminating in holding the WCW Cruiserweight Championship, to TNA. Rated number 18 in Pro Wrestling Illustrated “Female Top 50”, Daffney has seen what could be described as a tumultuous road in the world of Professional Wrestling, and has decided to help her ailing workers who have paved the way for the fortunate, and chose Wrestlers Rescue Dr. Death Campaign as the recipient.  (more…)
