To the professional wrestling community:

I was saddened today, but not surprised, to learn that Andrew “Test” Martin was suffering from Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE), a progressive degenerative brain disease caused by repetitive trauma, when he passed away. I had the honor of wrestling Test on multiple occasions and he had my respect both as a performer and as a person.

TNA’s New Programming
The Kingfish Arnie Katz the coming expansion of TNA’s television programming.

The pro wrestling world is holding its collective breath, waiting to see what the Hogan-led TNA has in store for fans and its powerful rivals in Stanford, CT. Rumors of additional TNA shows have circulated for at east six months, but Hulk Hogan’s arrival after January 1 looks like the trigger for actually doing something.

TNA Epics is set to debut in January. It isn’t yet known if this is going to be an archive show like the program of that name now running in the UK or if they are just repurposing the name. In any case, there is already talk about another show – and that one is certain to be new content.

William Regal tried to put the pieces of his shattered alliance back together, this week. Also, a “new” masked man made his official ECW debut. Plus, Vance Archer and Barreta and Croft continued to show why they are the hottest new stars in ECW.

Byron Saxton welcomed the fans to ECW and sent it to the ring where Josh Mathews waited by a ladder. He explained the ECW title match between Christian and Shelton Benjamin. Josh was cut off by Vladimir Kozlov, who stormed to the ring. He demanded that Ezekiel Jackson come out and face him like a man. He began to rant in Russian.

First Ever Empress Of The Ring Crowned In Allentown!
 
12/06/09 – This past Saturday WXW C4 continued the Allentown tradition of hosting the most important and prestigous tournament in womens wrestling today, but after 8 years it was held for the first time under WXW C4′s banner of Empress Of The Ring.  And just like in the past, the fans were treated to some amazing matches, shocking results, new faces that were able to cement their spot on the roster, and a veteran who was able to come out on top proving that after over 20 plus years in the ring, she hasn’t lost a step and is STILL the one to beat.
