My Elimination Chamber Predictions

HeadLocker — Jay Shannon
My Elimination Chamber Predictions

Our resident philosopher looks at the next “gimmick” Pay-Per-View from the WWE, Elimination Chamber.

It used to be called No Way Out. Now, the WWE presents Elimination Chamber As of Saturday morning, when I’m writing this, the WWE has only scheduled four matches. Surely, they are going to toss in a few more. I’ll predict what we know, so far.

Maryse v Gail Kim
Divas Championship Finals

Backstory: Melina got injured and had to forfeit her title. The WWE ran a tournament to get to the final two. Gail and Maryse ended up in the finals.

Prediction: Gail Kim really should head back to TNA. She’s been misused ever since she stepped foot back into the WWE. I don’t expect that to change on Sunday. Gail will get some near-falls but Maryse will slap on her French Kiss DDT to become the new championette.

Predicted Winner: Maryse
Predicted Grade: B- (if we’re lucky)

Rating the EAW Roster

The Katz Files
Rating the RAW Roster

The Kingfish Arnie Katz begins a new, month series that rates RAW wrestlers’ recent performances, analyzes strengths and weaknesses, and even charts future courses for major RAW stars.

Part 1

The ratings for WWE’s Monday night flagship continue to trend downward. TNA’s move to Monday will expand the total wrestling audience, long-term, but the immediate effect on RAW’s rating is likely to be negative.

If Vince McMahon runs true to past form, the Monday War will call forth a new, vigorous spirit – and a hard look at the RAW talent pool. What better time to inaugurate the monthly roster view?

The ECW Extreme Examination

The (Last) ECW Extreme Examination

Our resident philosopher looks at the very last episode of ECW.

The curtain rang down on the World of Extreme. With a somewhat heavy heart, I present the final ECW Extreme Examination.

This Week’s Episode: Goodbye, Again

The show opened with a few clips of the Original ECW, including Sandman.

Roll the opening montage…one last time!

Sunset Flip: Why is TNA Helping ROH?

Sunset Flip Presents:
Why is TNA Helping ROH
By Jim Boy Star

This past Saturday it was announced during the Ring of Honor 8th Anniversary Show that when they return to NYC, they will have the Motor City Machineguns.

Hey TNA, what the hell are you doing?

To me, one of the biggest problems with TNA is the fact they lend their talent to various independent promotions and Ring of Honor. In a way, I don’t consider Ring of Honor an indy wrestling promotion anymore because they do tour, has consistant shows, and most importantly has a national TV deal. Even though HDNet is a channel that seems to be nowhere, it is a still a cable deal.
