The Katz Files
Rating the TNA Roster 4
The Kingfish Arnie Katz concludes a new, monthly series that rates TNA wrestlers’ recent performances, analyzes strengths and weaknesses, and even charts future courses for major TNA stars.
Part 4
Check the first column in this series for the long-winded explanation if you haven’t yet read it.
Sean Morley
Mic: C+
Ring: C
Comment: He had a good run as Val Venis in WWE – and then several less productive stints with the same company. Now he’s in TNA, where he has not yet shown that he can even return to his former mediocrity, much less assume a major role in the show. Morley definitely has his uses, but he might do best as part of a tag team or as a member of a faction.
Shark Boy
Mic: B
Ring: B
Comment: This is a performer who, indeed, “knows his role,” which is what makes him so valuable. He always gives his best and that’s generally enough to make any match interesting, if not meaningful.

Alan Wojcik: What were the circumstances that led to you getting a tryout and eventually a developmental deal with WWE? Talk about the tryout experience so others can learn what to do right.
Eric Perez: I was working for WWC in Puerto Rico we had a show the day before the New Year’s Revolution PPV in PR and on that show I got busted open in the back of the head and had a small fracture on my right shoulder 15 seconds into the match, they sent referees out there telling me to stop it and I said no. I wrestled for 15 minutes (not a smart move…lol) but I did it. After the show I went to the hospital to get it taken care of. At around 3am I had already paid but no stitches or service for that matter so I decided to go home. I woke up at around 8am drove to the hospital…again. Talked to whoever was at the counter, explained what happened and they stitch me up. After I got out of the hospital I had 3 voicemails from the WWC office telling me I had an interview with WWE officials at the PPV. I went there got interviewed and eventually got a try out at DSW. The (NeXT to Last) Extreme Examination
Our resident philosopher looks at the penultimate edition of ECW.
ECW continued to wind down, this week. Everyone in the brand will become Free Agents when ECW shuts down. Vance Archer and Shelton Benjamin were the main event. Plus, the top contenders to Big and Awesome's Unified Tag Team titles.
Tiffany came out and talked to the ECW roster. She told everyone to have fun and enjoy the last two weeks. Tiffany donned some New Orleans beads adn started partying. Zack Ryder was worried about himself and Rosa Mendes's futures. Tiffany wanted to start Mardi Gras a little early.
Savannah introduced the first match. The winning team will get a shot at the Unified Tag titles on the final episode of ECW. ECW showed the loss of the tag belts to Big and Awesome. It was a Triple Threat match that also included the Straight Edge Society.
Goldust and Yoshi Tatsu came out first. Caylen Croft and Trent Barreta joined them in the ring.

OWW Radio – Where Legends and Fans Come Together
Vince Russo Should Apologize to Wrestlers and Wrestling Fans
By OWW Columnist Joe L.
When you are the owner of a wrestling organization or the head of a wrestling creative team, the last thing you would ever want to do is mock the sport that made you and the sport that your athletic co-workers respect. Then what on Earth was Vince Russo thinking when he stated that fans do not want to see extra minutes of “fake wrestling”?
In an interview back on January 28th 2010, Vince Russo was asked by a fan to increase in-ring wrestling time, Russo replied that he could not imagine anyone finding the time to add up more minutes of “fake wrestling” on a “fake wrestling program”. Yes, he not only debased wrestling as fake; he debased the company that he is writing for as a “fake wrestling program”.
