Pat Buck named new NYWC head trainer!

NYWC is proud to announce that Pat Buck is the new head trainer. Pat Buck began his training here at NYWC in 2001.  He ventured out to compete in the independent scene up and down the East Coast primarily in New England until 2005. In 2005, he relocated to train and work for Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW). At OVW, Pat trained simultaneously under Rip Rogers and alongside contracted talent Al Snow.  For the next four years, Pat worked OVW’s live events and weekly television shows sharpening his skills as a professional wrestler.  In 2009, Pat relocated once more to train under Steve Keirn and Norman Smiley at Florida Championship wrestling (FCW).  He explored another area of the industry officiating FCW events. During this time he helped train those who enrolled in FCW’s beginner program.

The following people had this to say about head trainer Pat Buck.  So don’t just take our word for it….take theirs!

The Mania of ISPWMANIA on March 27th

THE MANIA BEHIND ISPWMANIA
MARCH 27TH IN FREEHOLD, NJ
By: Tommy Fierro

Later this month I will be presenting ISPW’s biggest event of the year, ISPWMANIA. The event takes place on Saturday, March 27th in Freehold, NJ at the 3-2 Count Athletic Training Facility, located at 323A Fairfield Road at 7PM. This show will take place the day before WrestleMania 26, which for wrestling fans is without question the biggest weekend of the year. Since WrestleMania is taking place far away from New Jersey, I wanted to give wrestling fans a special show to jump start their biggest weekend of the year for anyone that lives on the East Coast. With ROH and other hardcore wrestling fans’ promotions not running in the area that weekend, I wanted to stack the deck for ISPW’s biggest show of the year and give each and every one of them something to look forward to.

AS I SEE IT: Thoughts of TNA iMPACT

AS I SEE IT
Bob Magee
Pro Wrestling: Between the Sheets
PWBTS.com

There’s a line from an old nursery rhyme from my parents’ time. It perfectly described this past week’s TNA IMPACT debut: “When it was good, it was very good, When it was bad it was horrid”.

Unfortunately, there was lots of bad., and not much good.

Sunset Flip: F*** the WWE Hall of Fame

Sunset Flip Presents:
F*** the WWE Hall of Fame
by Jim Boy Star

Over the past couple of weeks, I have been very positive in regards to pro wrestling. How can someone not be? We have the new Monday Night Wars between TNA and WWE, we have Wrestlelicious, we will have dueling midget wrestling promotions this summer, and Wrestlemania is coming up.

However, in the middle of my happiness, I read an article that angered me.

TNA: It’s Not Working

The Katz Files
TNA: It’s Not Working

The Kingfish Arnie Katz offers some straight-forward suggestions for turning around TNA before WWE delivers a Monday Night kill shot.

TNA management got a bracing dose of reality in the form of a 0.98 rating for its 3/8 iMPACT. That’s a sobering number, indeed, because its a drop from the series’ last Thursday show.

Dixie Carter seems like a pretty smart person, even if she isn’t an expert on professional wrestling. You have to figure that she’s beginning to wonder if Emperor Hogan is sartorially challenged.

What a smart person would do in that situation is look around for other, unbiased voices that might have some helpful thoughts about how to get things going in the right direction.

In hopes that Ms. Carter is savvy enough to be a reader of Online World of Wrestling, here are some real-world, do-able things that could help TNA.
