My Lockdown 2010 Predictions

Our resident philosopher, Jay Shannon, breaks out the crystal ball, tea leaves and lucky coin to try to figure out TNA’s All-Steel Cage Pay-per-view.

OK, I hate this Pay-per-view. The cage usually blocks a lot of the action and we are at the mercy of the camerament to shoot between the links to see the fighting. Wide-angle shots are pretty much out of the question. Grumble.

Now that I’ve gotten that out of my system, let’s look at this Gimmick PPV. Some of the matches aren’t half bad. Some are completely awful.

Lockdown Preview & Predictions

The Kingfish Arnie Katz gets you ready for TNA’s April pay per view with an entire card conducted inside the cage.

Lockdown, one of TNA’s better gimmick ideas, comes as the promotion is seeing some glimmers of hope. The last two PPVs got good critical notice, if not strong buy-rates, and the 1.1 rating for the second hour on the 4/12 iMPACT is also a positive sign.

Sean Waltman was the guest on In Your Head Wrestling Radio hosted by Jack E. Jones, Oneinchbiceps and Barbie Richards at www.inyourheadonline.com

Jack, OIB and Barbie Richards are joined by Syxx-Pac aka Sean Waltman. Waltman talks about getting called by many of his former monikers but their have been many more Syxx-Pac mentions. Waltman says it feels good to be back on television with Scott Hall and Kevin Nash. Waltman feels that is hard for him to showcase what he can do on the Impact program. Waltman is also in favor of having more actual wrestling on the program. Waltman talks about having the interviews scripted for them in TNA and for them to put it in their own words.

FORMER DIVA AND REALITY TV STAR MARIA KANELLIS TAKES HOTSEAT IN “YOUSHOOT”

Gene Kiniski, “Give Him Hell Kid”

Giant Gene Kiniski  caught me with a double leg pick-up and spun me around in a “Giant Swing” (Grabbed me by the ankles and spun me 360 degrees around and around). I could see the ring light at the Amarillo Sports Arena spinning overhead then I nearly passed out but came to as Gene slowed the Giant Swing and dropped me to the mat. Gene jumped on top of me with a rear chin lock and said, “Here comes your mother, kid. She is coming to help you. Dorothy is coming to ringside.”
