Ensuring there is no stone unturned in the life and career of The Iron Sheik, the Hall of Famer has taken the YouShoot oath.  Today Kayfabe Commentaries, producers of the popular and irreverent “YouShoot” series, has announced that submissions for The Iron Sheik’s edition of the show have commenced and will continue for the month of November.
 
The Iron Sheik rose to mainstream popularity several years ago thanks to his appearances on the Howard Stern Radio Show, among other comedy shows and venues, including the Ring Roasts series.  Sheiky’s wind-up, profanity-laced tirades on everything and everyone that has crossed him in the wrestling business have become legend.  Now, he’s agreed to answer your questions.  Start winding, guys.

NWA ANARCHY FRIGHT NIGHT 2010 10-30 – by LARRY GOODMAN

NWA Anarchy came through with their best big show performance of 2010 at the 12th annual Fright Night in Cornelia.

New Wave and Talent & Money tore the house down with an insanely spectacular bloodbath of a cage match. It was the finale of a the best pure tag team feud in NWA Anarchy history, and they went out on a high note with a match-of-the-year candidate, the kind where you wonder if the participants will ever be the same, and one that totally erased the memory of the subpar War Games match three months ago.

Some Great Carp Memories

 I never clarified with L’Excellance Ed as to the correct spelling of his name or his preference, because since 1959 we saw all sorts of spellings from Edouard, Edourd, Edourdo, etc. whether he was “the first” AWA or WWA world champ (helping start both promotions actually), the Omaha “AWA” champ for the Duseks, his various WWWF appearances, both major runs in my homebase territory of Los Angeles, for Baba’s AJPW in ’73 and later the AWA-related IWE; of course his AWA and Montreal main runs and more.

Lita made an appearance on Raw this week. It was being called a “one time appearance.” But that may soon change as she has stated that she’s interested in making a return to pro wrestling.

Lita departed ways with WWE back in 2006. She was pretty unhappy with the company around the time when she left. However, wrestlers change there minds pretty fast when it comes time to making a return; Lita is no exception. It was solidified by the fact that she agreed to work a segment on Raw this week.

As of late, Lita has been telling many of her friends that she really wants to make a return to the ring. It’s been four years since she’s been gone and the itch to return has probably started bugging her.

Don’t Vote For Linda

This week’s column is going to focus on the upcoming election. This week is an important election for wrestling fans even though not every wrestling fan can vote this upcoming Tuesday. There are a few reasons why you should note vote for Linda, which I will go over in this column because it actually relates to pro wrestling.

It should be noted, I don’t know the “issues”. I do not live in Connecticut and there is no reason for me to follow the politics of the state since I cannot vote anyway. My view is the view of an outsider and pro wrestling fan.
