The City of Brotherly Love (Philadelphia)

A name that has not really had meaning in just over 300 years when William Penn chartered the city in 1701. Philadelphia, being the former capitol of the United States during the colony years and site of the creation/signing of the Declaration of Independence, also has tons of historical sites. There is just too much to talk about Philadelphia as a part of American history. Philadelphia has also been among the most historical places in professional wrestling history.

Although TNA has been making many mistakes as a company this year, their biggest one without doubt has been letting a drugged Jeff Hardy to be involved in a main event match of a PPV. Many fans have started to predict the demise of TNA.
A true wrestling fan is someone who doesn’t blindly love WWE and instantly turn on every other pro wrestling promotion there is. Sadly, there are a handful of “pro wrestling” fans who only watch and support WWE. The fact of the matter is, TNA can and has proven on many occasions that it is capable of being a better company than WWE. On the flip side of things, it has also recently begun to show that it may be out of business soon.

WrestleMania, said to be the grandest stage of them all. And once upon a time it was. But in modern day wrestling that statement would be questionable. Everything post attitude era has been on a steady slope down hill, but has this wrestling rut done the improbable and actually affected the biggest stage of wrestling? Has WrestleMania lost that essence that made it was it once was or are we as fans just not allowing ourselves to see it? Well, after much thinking I have come up with my views on the matter. So read on and I shall discuss where I stand on “The Decline of WrestleMania”.
There’s not a person who hasn’t seen the devastation of the March 11 8.9 earrhquake in the Sendai region of Japan. The earthquake damage and the even more powerful tsunami, whose effects were felt as far as the Pacific North American coastline have killed hundreds of people, with thousands more missing and feared dead, tens of thousands injured, and untold billions of dollars in property destruction.

Ever since Kurt Angle left WWE, he’s been asked the question if he’ll ever return to WWE, and he made his decision very clear during a recent interview.
During a recent interview, Kurt Angle revealed that his contract is set to expire some time in August/September, but he made sure to mention that he will not be leaving TNA to head to WWE. Instead, he boldly stated that he plans to retire with the company.
Although it’s always great to look at Kurt Angle’s loyalty to TNA, you have to understand that retiring in TNA isn’t the best option. The company isn’t a small-scale operation by a long shot, but at this time, it’s of no match in comparison to WWE.
