HEY YO. Enough is Enough with Scott Hall

Written by Tommy Fierro;

I wanted to comment on the Scott Hall incident that took place this past weekend at a Top Rope Promotions event in Fall River, MA. I heard about the incident over the weekend and finally had the chance to watch the footage today. To say it was embarrassing would be an extreme understatement. Not only did Hall have to be helped into the ring by several people, but he didn’t even know where he was at. I’m not talking about what city or even state either. He didn’t know WHAT COUNTRY he was in. On the microphone he said he was in the UK.

Having promoted hundreds of events over the past eighteen years and dealing with hundreds of different stars in the industry, I wanted to give my take on the entire situation.

Shawn Michaels Recap
By Nikhil Kalhan
http://www.inyourheadonline.com

Jack and the OneInchBiceps were joined by a very special guest tonight: non other then “Mr Wrestlemania”, ”The Showstopper, The Heart-Break Kid” and now WWE’s first inductee to the Hall of Fame, class of 2011 Shawn Michaels.

Jack welcomed such a honorable guest to the show and Shawn Michaels was happy to be here. The first question Jack asked how did it feel to be the first inductee into this year’s WWE Hall of Fame? Shawn goes it was very flattering and after Jim Ross used to mention on commentary so many times “first ballot hall of famer for sure”, when you are done with the business and if they don’t put you in straightaway they might not like you but if not then you have done something very well. Shawn goes he’s not sure if he earned it or it was pushed by the WWE, Jack said he definitely earned it.

The Forgotten Supercard: Starrcade 1987

The Forgotten Supercard: Starrcade 1987

Note about Photo: “Rugged” Ronnie Garvin, who had wrestled the NWA World Heavyweight title away from Ric Flair just a few months before, went into the event with the championship, and the much-anticipated rematch!

In this day and age, any pay-per-view is considered by those within the business as a “supercard”. Unfortunately for wrestling fans these days, a supercard is rarely all that super. To enlighten the newer fans as to what the term “supercard” once meant, I will analyze perhaps the greatest supercard of them all, in my opinion, the NWA’s Starrcade ’87: Chi-Town Heat event. On November 26th, 1987, Thanksgiving night, a sell-out crowd in the UIC Pavilion in Chicago, IL saw perhaps what is arguably one of the greatest events of all time. This event certainly made an impact on me, as I still have yet to ever see a match that will rival the pops received in even some of the undercard matches on this event. The buildup to the event itself was almost a year long affair. Falling on the heels of Jim Crockett’s purchase of Bill Watt’s UWF, this event promised many great matches, including a few interpromotional matches.

Jack was joined by Sid Vicious for his 5th Interview with in your head wrestling radio. Jack asked how he was approached for being in the movie? Sid said Bruce Koehler phoned him a year before production started and asked if he was interested. He praised them for being quite a big Indy production Company. He said it was a really great casting team which persuaded him more and gave the movie star power: such as Kurt Angle, Kevin Nash and Bill Heinzman. Jack asked the makeup process? Sid goes it was quite a pain and stayed on him for a few days but it was worth it. Jack asked if his facial movements came natural to him? He agreed with the point made and said it came naturally to him but doesn’t even remember doing it while filming the scenes. Did he see any similarities between horror movie monsters and wrestling monster?
