Here’s the 2010 Quebec Wrestling Awards and Hall of Fame inductees.

El Generico was named wrestler of the year for a second year in a row; LuFisto was named female wrestler of the year; Super Smash Bros. have been named tag team of the year and El Generico vs Kevin Steen was feud of the year.  The Editor’s award was given to Jacques Rougeau Sr. (the father of Ray and Jacques)

As for the HOF, the new inductees are Frank Valois, Michel Normandin and Ivan Koloff.  Valois was a longtime wrestler and promoter.  He had success in France and was a co-owner of International Wrestling in the 80’s.  He was Andre the Giant first manager as he traveled with him for several years.

Normandin was the very first french TV commentator in 1953 when wrestling got on the air in Quebec.  When wrestling got red hot in Montreal in that period, he was the voice of wrestling there.  He was a well known commentator, as he also worked for the Montreal Canadiens.

Finally, Koloff started his russian gimmick in Montreal after Jacques Rougeau Sr adviced him to do so.  He won several championships in Montreal and of course, he’s a former WWWF champion.
