Shelly Martinez (known as Ariel in WWE’s watered down version of ECW) was unexpectedly released from her contract today. As were Scott Taylor (Scotty Too Hotty) and Nick Mitchell (Spirit Squad member Mitch). No surprises there. In addition to that, we just found out that developmental diva Angel Williams was also released. (Source: witheld by request)
Gregory Helms is out of action with an injured (possibly broken) neck. Best wishes from Online World of Wrestling to Helms as he recovers from this frightening injury. He will be meeting with Dr. Lloyd Youngblood in Birmingham, Alabama in the next few days and will most likely undergo the same surgery Steve Austin, Edge, Chris Benoit, Rhino and many others have had in the past. (Source: WrestlingObserver.com)
