BLACK DIAMOND WRESTLING RETURNS TO DOWNTOWN WHEELING WITH BENEFIT SHOW FRIDAY NIGHT MAY 18th!!!

Black Diamond Wrestling will make its long awaited return to downtown Wheeling at the Nelson Jordan Center tonight, Friday May 18th.  The NJC is located on the corner of 13th and Jacob Streets in downtown Wheeling, WV.  Bell time for this event is 6:00, with the doors opening at 5:30, and tickets are only $6.00!!  $1.00 from your admission and all proceeds from concessions will go directly to benefit Northwood Health Systems.  Bring the family, the friends, and co-workers to help support a great organization and see some high flying, hard hitting, professional wrestling action.

The Gambino Brothers have been on a tear since returning to Black Diamond Wrestling in recent months.  Mickey, Marshall and their cousin Jimmy DeMarco have issued a challenge to anyone in Black Diamond Wrestling who thinks they can knock them off their high horse: bring it to the NJC on Friday night!  The Gambinos have had their sights set on capturing gold – both tag team and singles championships are within their grasp.  Who will step up and meet the challenge of the Gambinos this Friday night?

Also, democratically elected BDW Commissioner Johnny Matthews has said he will issue an important statement about the current state of the BDW Heavyweight Championship at Friday night’s event.  Matthews has suspended both the Champion, Chris Kole, and Matthew’s long time nemesis “King of Men” Devin Devine for the event.  Matthews was displeased when Kole did not defend the title as scheduled two weeks ago in BDW’s Middlebourne debut.  Although Devine defended the title in place of Kole, Matthews was furious that Devine had the guts to defend a title he did not hold.  Will Matthews strip Kole of the championship?  Will he name a number one contender?

BDW Tag Team Champions Blacktastic Brandon X & Notorious MAV, also known as Affirmative Action, have had their hands full recently with challenges from former titleholders Dash Bennett & Dan Sandwich, and the Rogue.  By pinning MAV in Middlebourne two weeks ago in singles competition, Jake Garrett earned a shot at the titles with a partner of his choosing.  Will he cash in his opportunity Friday night, or does the Country Boy have his sights set on taking the tag team gold at the BDW 4th Anniversary Show in June?  Will anyteam be able to stop Affirmative Action, which Johnny Matthews has started calling the best tag team in BDW history?

After struggling to find a fan following in Black Diamond Wrestling, Chris LeRusso showed his true colors by turning on his tag team partner Jabari Mustafa.  LeRusso has promised to show the fans at the NJC that he is a true wrestling prodigy on Friday night.  What does this relative newcomer to BDW have in store?  The only way to find out is to be there live and in person this Friday night.

More of the best wrestlers competing in the Upper Ohio Valley will be in action as well at the NJC this Friday night, including crowd favorite the “Breadman” Dan Sandwich, Wheeling’s own Dash Bennett, “Soviet Shooter” Nikita Allanov, “Syko” Sean Dahmer and many more.

Don’t miss the chance to see the most talked about wrestling promotion in the Ohio Valley. Not the biggest, not the baddest. Simply the best!

The cards and appearances for both events are subject to change.  For more information, please visit us online at  www.blackdiamondwrestling.com and www.myspace.com/blackdiamondwrestling.
