AJ STYLES (ALLEN JONES)

Allen Neal Jones (born June 2, 1977), better known by his ring name A.J. Styles is an American professional wrestler currently working for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA).   He gained his earyly experience in NWA Wildside then ROH and was briefly signed to WCW.   He, James Storm, Jeff Jarrett and Abyss (who wrestled under the name Justice) are the only wrestlers to perform on the inaugural NWA-TNA pay-per-view event on June 19, 2002, and still be employed by the company in a wrestling role today. Since he joined TNA, Styles has been a four-time World Heavyweight Champion, having held the NWA World Heavyweight Championship three times and the TNA World Heavyweight Championship once, the very first TNA X Division Champion, while also sharing the record for most reigns (six) with Jay Lethal, a six-time World Tag Team Champion (4 NWA and 2 TNA), and a two-time Television Champion. With having won the TNA X Division, NWA World Tag Team, and NWA World Heavyweight Championships, Styles was the first to complete the TNA Triple Crown Championship. Styles would later complete the Triple Crown three more times, making him the only man to complete it more than once. His victory over Booker T for the TNA Legends (now Television) Championship made him the first man to have ever won the TNA Grand Slam Championship, which he has done twice. Also, he is the only wrestler in TNA to have held every male championship owned and sanctioned by TNA at any point during the company’s history. All totaled, he has won 18 championships in TNA. In 2010 he became the first TNA contracted wrestler to rank in at #1 on Pro Wrestling Illustrated annual PWI 500 list.

Fright Night 2012 Report by James Olsen

Anarchy Wrestling presented Fright Night 2012 on 10/27/12 at the newly dubbed Anarchy Arena in Cornelia, GA before 175 ravenous fans, who never seemed to tire of the action. They were hot for everything.

This event was important for Anarchy in that it was the first quarterly “Big Show” since they parted ways with their former sanctioning body and the Anarchy crew proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that they didn’t need any help from outside forces, and had all they needed to make an impact right there at home. Fright Night also represented the beginning of a new era in that all 4 major Anarchy championships changed hands.

1) Anthony Henry & Najasism & Vandal & Joey Rhymer defeated Andrew Pendleton & Brandon Parker & CB Gibson & Brandon Parker & CB Suave & Tommy Penerelli when Henry submitted Parker;

This opener was anchored by two established Anarchy stars in Henry and Pendleton, but was also important in featuring guys who were climbing the ladder. Najassism & Vandal continue to have good showings as a team with a unique look & style. Joey Rhymer has fan support, Brandon Parker has started to come into his own teaming with AP3,and Gibson & Penerelli are getting plenty of negative reaction from the crowd (cat-calls of Pizzarelli, Hemmoroids, & jobbers showered them),. The combination made for a very entertaining opener with the established hero Anthony Henry taking home an important victory.

2) Billy Buck pinned Bo Newsom to become the new Anarchy TV Championship. The 10 minute time limited expired with match a draw, but Franklin Dove ordered 5 more minutes; This was a fantastic back and forth match and one of many that the fans were emotionally invested in. Billy Buck has been a go to guy for Anarchy. He’s a home grown star, trained right there in the Anarchy arena. He’s beaten all the key players in the past, but just at the wrong time. He’s been in that dangerous scenario where one more chase without winning the big one, and his fans may have just lost faith in him….but this night was not that night. Bo Newsom has had a strong grip on the TV title for quite a while. He’s elevated himself to new heights as the protege of Shaun Tempers. He’s gone from an up and comer to a major player. But at Fright Night 2012, however, Buck wouldn’t be denied…and after getting the 5 additional minutes. Billy only needed about one minute to hit the Superkick and pin Bo for the 1, 2, 3.

3)Seth Delay pinned Bobby Moore so Moore had to wear the Barney outfit while “I Love You” played. Delay knocked Moore/Barney out with nucks postmatch; This was a fantastic match that had a whole lotta pride on the line. If Moore won, Delay had to kiss his feet. If Delay won, Moore had to adorn the Barney suit. Delay snagged the victory and Moore was having none of it. Officials came out and made him put the suit on, where we were treated to a hilarious display of buffoonery as Moore tried to get the suit off, while chasing his tail and tripping over himself in the process.

4)Stryknyn (with Rev. Dan Wilson) submitted Adrian Hawkins to become the new Anarchy Young Lion’s Champion with Todd Sexton as the special referee. Adrian Hawkins, with the new addition of his entourage Tommy Penerelli and CB Suave has become a heatseeker as Anarchy Young Lions Champion. He’s proven that he may be the best submission wrestler in Anarchy and all title defenses have been held under submission rules. “The Lethal Dose” Stryknyn has no problem taking or breaking the rules he needs to suit his favor. Stryk unveiled his new finisher “The Tourniquet” a few weeks ago (his own version of the Anaconda Vice), showing that he’d worked with The Rev to craft an effective weapon against Hawkins. Hawkins gave Stryk his best, and he even tried to have his co-horts get involved, but between Todd Sexton as special ref and The Rev in Stryk’s corner, they’re involvement was limited. It was a great back and forth battle, but once Hawkins found himself locked in the Tourniquet, it was time to tap out, or risk serious injury. The fastest rising, and arguably most popular up and comer in Anarchy, The Lethal Dose Stryknyn has now placed his first flag in the ground towards his conquest of Anarchy Wrestling and is the new Young Lions Champion.

5) Mikael Judas defeated Jacoby Boykins by pinfall, Se7en by DQ and Jeff Bailey’s Surprise Brian Casanova by pinfall to win the Gauntlet From Hell and a match with Jerry Palmer on 11-10-12;

MIkael Judas had faced all these opponents before, but never all at once. It was a clear stratgey designed by The Elite to take out Judas. Unfortunately for them, it was ineffective, at least in the short term. Judas and Boykins battled it out in and even keel, but Judas was able to beat him. Se7en was clearly sent to soften Judas up for the big surprise. Se7en immediately went to work on Judas with a chair and got DQ’d, but clearly injured his knee. The big surprise arrived in the form of the returning Bryan Casanova, and he continued to do a number on the knee of Judas, but on this night, “The Priest Of Punishment” couldn’t be put down. He withstanded yet a 3rd assault and also beat Casanova to earn his match vs Jerry Palmer.

6)Brodie Chase defeated Shaun Tempers to become the new Anarchy Heavyweight Champion; This moment got a standing ovation from the fans and the locker-room. The match was ordered restarted after a referee dispute. (Chase had Tempers pinned but his foot was on the rope. Referees Brent Wiley & Dee Byers got into a heated confrontation over the decision, which led to Byers shoving Wiley down). The match was restarted and Chase hit his double arm DDT finisher and got a clean pin on Tempers to win the belt. Chase himself looked on in disbelief. The “Mickey Rourke” of Anarchy had finally one the big one. This was truly a heartwarming moment.

7)Urban Assault Squad (Shadow Jackson & Nemesis with Jerry Palmer) defeated Slim J & Azrael (with Dan Wilson) in a Barbed Wire Massacre – Tag Team Title match when Nemesis pinned Slim J after a senton onto J who was on a barb wire covered table to become the new Anarchy Tag Team Champions. This was as brutal and bloody as everyone expected. Things got out of hand in a hurry. The ropes were wrapped with barbed wire. There were weapons wrapped in barbed wire (that included a basketball, a baseball bat, a 2×4, a trash-can, a halloween ghost, and a keyboard). The deathblow came when Shadow and Azrael took a tumble into a barbed wire steel casket from the apron the the floor, leaving Slim J all alone in the ring with Nemesis. Afterwards, Wilson threw himself over the carcass of Azrael to prevent any further attacks. Jerry Palmer taunted him further and Wilson attacked Palmer. Azrael & Slim J’s manager was then the victim of a heinous 3 on 1 attack was hanged by UAS postmatch. The UAS created a barbed wire crown of thorns and noose and were preparing to finish The Rev off for good when Judas and Chase came out for the save. Judas announced that the 11-10 match with Palmer would be in a steel cage. The arena erupted.

RPW SHOW SCHEDULE

Sunday November 18

RPW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION:  CRU JONES

RPW TV CHAMPION:  KYLE MATTHEWS

RPW TAG TEAM CHAMPION: CHIP DAY & COREY HOLLIS

Rampage Pro Wrestling

If you missed R.P.W.’s Championship Sunday 11-4, do not fear, results are here.

It’s been just one week since Doctoberfest 2012 and the R.P.W. faithful showed up in full again this afternoon at Johnny G’s.

In the opening contest of the first taping, Shaun Banks of Hot Like Lava defeated “Encore” Zac Edwards by pin fall after a flying elbow drop (7:23).

Drew Adler answered the open challenge of.Kyle Matthews to challenge for the R.P.W. Television Championship. In a great back and forth match, Matthews was able to get the win by pin fall after a Slurpee Kick (10:19). Great show of respect by both men after the match.

In match #3, “Officer” Chris Jacobs got what some may call an upset victory over the massive Sylar Cross. Jacobs got the win by pin fall with a school boy after “Hit for Hire” Bobby Moore nailed Cross with the loaded elbow pad (5:04).

Brad Storm interviewed Miss Allie with her Angels before the match. Apparently Manager Charlie Cash has gone missing. Allie claims her innocence and we’re on to our main event.

Allie’s Angels (Corey Hollis & “Do or Die” Chip Day w/ Miss Allie) defeated B.F.F. (“Marvelous” Michael Stevens & “Adorable” Anthony Andrews) to retain the R.P.W. Tag Team Championship (10:40). Great back and forth tag match between these four men. In the end Hollis pinned Stevens to seal the deal.

In the 1st match of taping two, “The Revolution” Shane Marx pinned Drew Adler after a Natural Selection (6:55).

In Peach Division action, Pandora defeated Nina Monet by count out (7:44). Monet appeared to suffer an injury when Pandora threw her to the floor. Monet was barely moving, but Pandora decided she wasn’t done and hit Monet with a DDT into the ring apron and went back into the ring as the referee made the 10-count.

Adonis w/ Miss Allie defeated former partner “Hit for Hire” Bobby Moore by pin fall (11:21). Sylar Cross made his presence felt and distracted Moore who ended up getting hit with a huge spinebuster from Adonis who pinned him for the win. Post-match Cross entered the ring and hit a huge splash on Moore. Needless to say that these two are far from being done with each other.

In the 2nd taping main event, A.J. Steele of the Blacklist fought Micah Taylor to a double count out (14:02). Steele had a lot of fans in the crowd as did Micah. In the end both men fought outside the ring and the referee made the 10-count. Micah grabbed a chair, but A.J. took off.

In the dark main event, Cru Jones defeated Blacklist leader Murder One by disqualification to retain the R.P.W. Heavyweight Championship (9:34). A lot of support for Murder from “his people”. Cru wasn’t afraid to let his haters hear it. Cru looked like he was going to put Murder away, but A.J. Steele hit the ring and broke up the pin fall resulting in the D.Q. Steele and Murder beat down Cru and choked him with Murder’s belt, until Micah hit the ring and ran them off with a chair. R.P.W. returns on November 18th with a lot of new faces. Simon Sez, Francisco Ciatso, Mike Cruz, Kory Chavis, & Mike Kross will be in the house according to announcer Brad Storm. You won’t want to miss this.

by ProSouth Wrestling on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 1:43pm ·

The third annual Wicked Havoc event opened with triple threat action featuring Sheriff Stupid (w/Deputy Tweety), “The Prodigy” Daniel Alexander and the returning “Future Classic” Tyler Gage! Gage made Alexander tap with the Sharpshooter for the victory! Gage’s celebration was cut short as Red Rayne ran in and planted Gage with a Choke Bomb!

All-Out Champion Jed Johnson took on Dakot aOutlaw in a grudge match! Outlaw seemed to have victory in hand as he locked Jed in the Katahajime! Familiar music hit and D2daC made his return to ProSouth! As he entered the ring, Outlaw released his hold and faced off with D2daC! D2daC pulled back to punch him, but decided against and pantsed Outlaw instead! As D2daC left, Jed grabbed Outlaw and hit the Sliced Jed for the victory!

Wrestling Star Najasism made his way to the ring and told the crowd that his partner decided to not show up tonight! De La Vega interrupted Najasism and said his partner also decided to stay home! Referee Jeremy Black announced that Commissioner Terry Batey had decided that the Tag Team Titles would still be defended…in a singles match! Najasism versus De La Vega ended in a draw as both men had their shoulders pinned to the mat during a German Suplex! After a few tense moments of arguing, Commissioner Terry Batey came to ringside and made the decision that De La Vega and Najasism would defend the Tag Team Titles together!

In our semi main event, Steven Michaels defeated Brandon Collum in an “I Quit” match! The match saw chair shots, handcuffs and a run in from Daniel Alexander; but Michaels while still handcuffed defeated Brandon Collum with the Crossface!

Battle Rumble Winner Big Tomb versus ProSouth Champion “The Last Hero” Ace Haven (w/Amy) with the title on the line was next! Both men brawled to start the match, eventually knocking down referee Earl Davidson! The champion and challenger both bloody, brawled backstage, outside and made their way back into the ring where Ace Haven hit an Ace Crusher with no referee to count the pin! Ace connected with a Super Kick and an Ace Crusher combo for a long two count! Big Tomb planted the champion with a Choke Slam for a two count and a Tomb Bomb for another two count! Ace sent Tomb to the floor and dove with a plancha, but Tomb caught the champion and destroyed him with the World’s Blackest Slam on the floor! Tomb was in the ring recovering when referee Jeremy Black caught Brandon Collum tossing Ace Haven back into the ring for the Disqualification! Tomb argued with N-Justice members Brandon Collum and Daniel Alexander about costing him his title shot! Commissioner Terry Batey said he was tired of having N-Justice interfere in everything so he banned N-Justice from ringside and restarted the match! As the bell rang, Collum & Alexander attacked Tomb and gave Ace the DQ victory! Tomb fought off both men and left both of them laying as the night ended!

Deep Southern Championship Wrestling was created in March of of 2010 and started running shows once a month in Ellijay, Ga. We started out in a place known as Gilmer Golf and games. Our first show drew a crowd of 35 or 40 people. DSCW didn’t get discouraged though we kept giving good quality matches at a fair price and got our crowds up to 150 or more. We had to move to gyms and civic centers to support our fan base, drawing close to 600 on some of our big shows.
