The CAC is sad to announce that Al Mandell, who served on the CAC board for 25 plus yrs. and has been in the wrestling business for over 70 yrs passed away on December 26th of natural causes at the age of 92 in his home in Charlotte NC. Al did his first stint as a referee in the 40s and continued until the 70s, but kept active in the CAC and with local indy groups offering help and advice when he could. Al is credited with being the most successful member of the CAC with his personal membership drive. So many fellow workers are to this day still members of the club because of Al.
AL also served in the US Air Force for some 25 yrs. and will be buried at Arlington Cemetery will full military honors

He is survived by his wife Jill.
