Nashville Pro Wrestling will celebrate an extended holiday weekend with the debut of the Flightweight Division as part of a packed lineup Friday, May 24, 2013, at Old Hickory Community Center in Nashville.

This event will include 7 matches, one of which will feature lucha libre veteran Antonio Garza (Mexico City, Mexico) vs. strong-style specialist Jordan Kage (Los Angeles, Calif.) vs. Midwest standout Reed Bentley (Georgetown, Ky.) in a 3-man Flightweight Cup qualifying match.

The winner will earn an automatic spot in the end-of-year Flightweight Cup, a one-night tournament that will showcase nine of the world’s most athletic, high-flying, cruiserweight-style wrestlers.

Other matches on the Friday, May 24 card will spotlight top wrestling athletes from Middle Tennessee and across the U.S., including Christian Rose (Iowa), Yaden Matthews (Ohio), Prada and Revick Hollistar (California), Matt Cage (Nevada), Dyron Flynn (North Carolina), Brandon Espinosa (Missouri), Shawn Hoodrich (Tennessee), Justin Grandberry (Tennessee), Danny Todd (California), Alex Castle (Illinois), Team IOU’s Nick Iggy and Kerry Awful (Tennessee), and more. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., followed by a special preshow performance by Nashville country music recording artist Austin Moody (www.AustinMoody.net) at 7. Wrestling will begin at 7:30.

Old Hickory Community Center is located at 1050 Donnelson Avenue in the Old Hickory community, just minutes east of downtown Nashville and just off picturesque Old Hickory Lake.
