RightCoastPro Wrestling Developmental (RCPD) has announced that together with former WWE Superstar Matt Striker they will conduct an “Essential Skills for Success in Pro-Wrestling” seminar January 18th, 2014 being held at the Life Community Church on Otts Chapel Road, in Newark, Delaware. This seminar is a must attend for anyone working in any aspect of pro-wrestling, broadcast journalism, sports marketing, character based performers, commentary, public figures or any businesses with a video presence.
Striker, with a master’s degree in education, was a high school teacher prior to becoming a professional wrestler. He worked with the WWE over 8 years as an on-screen commentator, interviewer, and wrestler as well as company ambassador to the public. This is a rare opportunity to learn from one of the industry’s top and most experienced personalities. Learn to promote yourself, develop your on-camera character and hear tips of how it’s done in the big leagues! Not just those in the wrestling business, but anyone from any profession can benefit from this seminar! No in-ring experience needed.
The afternoon session starts at 1pm with registration, lunch, meet & greet and spruce up your wrestling resume with a professional photo shoot (optional). The classroom style seminar begins at 2pm with inter-active multi-media lessons covering promos and interviews in front of a live audience and videotaped for review, character development, resumes, professionalism, self-marketing, social media, being essential to any promoter/boss, top tier talent evaluation and Q&A session with Matt Striker.
