Several weeks ago, Richard Boudreau, Kayfabe Kickout Lead Editor, broke the news that New Zealand female wrestler Sara Jay (Simone Johnson) was set to receive a tryout by the WWE sometime this summer.
Richard followed up and spoke with Ms. Johnson personally, and she has confirmed that she will indeed receive a WWE Tryout in the summer.
She did say however that considering that she is from the New Zealand Area, the tryout with the WWE may take place in Melbourne.
Sara Jay, who has held Women’s Championships in Puerto Rico, with WWC and the AIWF, as well as other promotions, is smaller in stature; standing at 5’0 ft tall and weighs 100 lbs. She does have the fitness background and physique that the WWE is looking for, so the company could be looking for a smaller female wrestler similiar to AJ Lee to compliment her in the Divas division.
