NWS Show This Saturday Night 8/25 In Carteret, After “Legends Of The Ring” Convention, With Goldust, Big Van Vader, Lex Luger, Miss Brooks, Hearthrob Antonio Thomas & More

The countdown has begun… only days until the nation’s biggest family-themed pro wrestling promotion, National Wrestling Superstars, presents what will no doubt be its biggest show of the year, right here in the tri-state area, in Carteret, NJ, now known as the mecca of pro wrestling… a show that will possibly rival the big WWE pay-per-view also occurring this Sunday up the road in the Meadowlands.

Mark this location and date on your calendar in big bold letters: Saturday August 25th at 7:30pm, at the air-conditioned Holy Family Parish Hall, 213 Pershing Avenue in Carteret (near Washington & Roosevelt Avenues). On that night, NWS will not be blowing up any limousines, there will be no lawyers or paternity suits or family squabbling. (If that’s what you want, see the aforementioned WWE show in the Meadowlands.) Instead, NWS will present an unprecedented array of legendary and current TV pro wrestling talent in a show that is bound to be remembered as one for the ages.

And we say wrestling legends, we’re talking about stars like WWE & WCW stars Dustin Runnels (a.k.a. the WWE’s Goldust, who now can be seen on TNA Wrestling), Big Van Vader, and “The Total Package” Lex Luger. Fans of former WWE Tag-Team Champions The Heartthrobs will see one-half of that team, “The Promise” Antonio Thomas, in Carteret. WWE stars “America’s Hero” The Patriot, and Salvatore Sincere will also appear in the ring, along with former ECW tag-team champion “Dastardly” Danny Doring.

In addition, the fans with cameras will need a very wide angle lens, as one of the largest and oddest tag-team pairings in history will re-unite in Carteret, none other than the 7’5″ Giant Silva & the “masked odd-it-tee” Goal-Duh.

But not only will the men be taking center stage, the ladies will as well. Two lovely but dangerous ladies in particular, namely TNA Wrestling’s Miss Traci Brooks and rival diva Nikki Roxx. They have a score to settle after their last meeting under NWS’ banner in Long Branch in July, and you can bet that this showdown will be even more intense.

(These legends, and many others, can also be seen earlier that same day at the “Legends Of The Ring V” Convention at the nearby Radisson Hotel in Carteret. For more information go to www.3countpromotions.com.)

Joining these legends will be a host of local mat standouts from the tri-state area, including the popular Monsta Mack, Dan Rageous (formerly known as Dirt Bag Dan), high-flying Mikey Pacifica, Chris Steele, and Nicky Oceans.

And while this card is stacked high with talent, the ticket prices are anything but high, only $20 for reserved ringside seating and $18 for open seating. The 1st and 2nd rows are already sold out, so you’d better hurry. Tickets can be purchased by phone by calling NWS at (732) 888-1704. All major credit cards are accepted, and group rates are available for groups of ten or more. Remaining tickets, if any (and that’s a mighty big “if”), will go on sale at the door one hour before bell time.
