[WWE News] WWE is closing in on the Mid South/UWF video library the majority of which is owned by Bill Watt’ ex-wife. The tapes are the last historical wrestling libraries (other than the Memphis collection) which has not yet been acquired by WWE. Company reps were in Georgia this past week looking over the quality of the tapes and it’s believed an official offer will be made for the tapes.. [reported by Mike Aldren]

[Diva News] Former WWE Diva’s Joy Giovanni and Amy Weber are releasing a chick fight DVD through Big Vision Entertainment. A funny story here. Both women have been doing the Internet interview rounds cutting promos on each other promoting the match as a live steaming PPV. The DVD was actually shot a while ago as Weber is now pregnant. She was asked by a caller on one radio show about being pregnant. She went into kayfabe mode saying she wasn’t pregnant and asked the caller where he had heard that. He told her that she blogged about it on her own website. There was a long silence then Weber said, “oh well, it (meaning the baby) didn’t work out.” The hosts quickly changed the subject assuming she must have had a miscarriage. Weber later told the hosts off air that everything was fine with the baby and she was working the caller to buy the DVD.. [reported by Mike Aldren]
