SECOND UPDATE:

WWE.com just announced the following:  “Upon further evaluation, WWE has reinstated Tenille Dashwood (WWE Diva Emma) but will take appropriate punitive action for her violation of the law.”
Editor’s note: This story is getting a little weird!  Good for Emma to be reinstated though.

UPDATE:

WWE.com today released a statement: “WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Diva Emma as of today, July 2, 2014. WWE wishes Emma the best in all her future endeavors.”

Original story:

WWE Diva Emma, real name Tenille Dashwood, was reportedly arrested in Hartford Connecticut yesterday, the site of last night’s RAW.

This is according to the arrest log on Hartford.gov. The police record shows that the Australian native was taken into custody at 1:00 p.m. and booked with a charge of sixth-degree larceny. She was arrested at 495 Flatbush Avenue, which is the location of a Wal-Mart store.

Police say Emma, who’s real name is Tenille Dashwood, was charged with sixth-degree larceny after she stole an item from the Wal-Mart department store located on 495 Flatbush Avenue, which is approximately three miles away from the site of Monday’s WWE event at the XL Center. The alleged theft was reported to police at approximately 1:00 p.m. and she was released at 2:13 p.m.

The WWE Diva appeared in community court Tuesday. According to her lawyer, Hubert , she was told to participate in community service.

Santos said Dashwood’s arrest stemmed from a mistake. He told the publication that she was using the self-checkout machine at the Wal-Mart when she purchased approximately $30 of items, but forgot to pay for a case for an electronic device.
