FORMER PHILLIES ACE MITCH “WILD THING” WILLIAMS TAPPED AS GUEST MANAGER FOR TEAM 3-D AT UNITED WRESTLING FEDERATION MAIN EVENT THIS FRIDAY NIGHT, JUNE 8TH AT NEW ALHAMBRA ARENA IN PHILADELPHIA

Team 3-D, the most decorated tag team in professional wrestling history, will have a special guest in their corner this Friday night when they return home to the New Alhambra Arena as the TNA World Tag Team Champions, to take on “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels and “The Phenomenal” A J Styles as they will be joined ringside by Philadelphia Sports personality and former Philadelphia Phillies pitcher, Mitch Williams, as their special guest manager.

The UWF, owned by NASCAR driver and broadcaster Hermie Sadler, is making its third trip to South Philly, and Sadler thinks the addition of Williams is great for the UWF and the fans in Philadelphia.  “We are proud to have Mitch appear at ‘Hardcore War’ this Friday night.  It is a natural fit with he and Team 3-D.  With Mitch teaming up with Team 3-D, you know anything can happen this Friday night!”

Williams is currently a co-host on Angelo Cataldi’s morning radio show on 610 WIP AM one morning a week, and works as a post game analyst for Phillies games on Comcast Sportsnet.  Sadler, who currently is a broadcaster for SPEED and DirecTV covering NASCAR, will be on Cataldi’s radio show, with Williams on Friday morning at 8 am.

In addition to Williams and the entire card of wrestling superstars including Dustin Rhodes, Rick Steiner, and others, an appearance by several members of the Philadelphia Eagles football team and the Eagles Cheerleading Squad are also scheduled to appear.

The doors open at 6:00 pm for the pre show meet and greet, 7:00 for the general public, and belltime is 8:00 pm.  Advance tickets can be purchased online at www.uwfusa.com and tickets will be available at the door.
