Dave Meltzer wrote on WrestlingObserver.com: Regarding Abismo Negro’s death yesterday (Andres Palomque), the story was that he suffered a nervous breakdown while riding a bus to a show, and forced the driver to pull over near a river. Nobody knows what happened from there. He sent a text message to his wife saying he was lost by the hills. The belief is he fell into the river and was trapped by the mud and unable to get out. His body was found floating down the river and identified. The cause of death was an anxiety attack which the coroner believed was caused by anabolic steroids.
