1991: Axl Rotten had a short stint in World Championship Wrestling and feuded with P.N. News..Brian Elliot (via the Wrestling Classics Message Board) wrote: Axl Rotten has claimed that the late Joey Maggs cost him his run in WCW at the time. Whilst in the middle of a match in which Axl was going over, Maggs deliberately tripped Axl, causing him to fall less than gracefully. From that point, people considered Axl clumsy, and his push was dropped.
