In the Beginning:

World Wrestling Federation – The Brood:

  • Christian debuted at the side of Gangrel, who was feuding with Edge (who was, by storyline, supposed to be Christian’s brother)..
  • Christian defeated Taka Michinaku to win the WWF Light-Heavyweight title in his very first official WWF match!
  • Christian & Gangrel eventually convinced Edge to join them, and they became known as, the Brood..
  • The Brood feuded extensively with the Hardy Boyz, Matt & Jeff..
  • Christian & Edge formed a tag team and later split from Gangrel, who recuited the Hardy Boyz and formed the New Brood..
