  • Diamond Dallas Page debuted as the manager of a tag team named Bad Company (Pat Tanaka and Paul Diamond) in the AWA.
  • Diamond Dallas Page also managed Col DeBeers, Bam Bam Bigelow, Johnny Ace and Dick Slater in Florida Championship Wrestling.
  • April 1, 1990 – WWF Wrestlemania 6: Dallas Dallas Page drove his pink cadillac to the ring with Rhythm and Blues and Jimmy Hart.
  • 1991: Diamond Dallas Page jumped to the NWA/WCW and managed the Freebirds (Michaels Hayes and Jimmy Garvin).

Diamond Dallas Page: The Injury:

  • April 17, 2002: DDP visited Dr. Jay Youngblood in San Antonio and was told that he qualifies for surgery on his neck.
  • May 16, 2002: DDP again met with Dr. Jay Youngblood to get the painful diagnosis.
  • ~~~Page has a lot of degeneration in his C5, C6 and C7 vertebrae.
  • ~~~Page also has a spinal canal narrowing which is causing weakness in his biceps and numbness in his hands.
  • ~~~Page’s C3 and C4 vertebrae have almost completely fused together on their own.
  • ~~~Youngblood said that DDP could continue wrestling as long as he can tolerate the pain.
  • May 30, 2002: Page’s third doctors opinion was that he should retire from wrestling.
  • ~~~Page later finds out that if he steps into the ring again, his insurance policy will be cancelled.
  • June 2002: Page makes the most difficult decision of his life, and announces his retirement ‘from the ring’.
  • ~~~Page steps back from the wrestling business for a while, stating he needs the time because he “wasn’t ready to leave”.

  • November 2003: Diamond Dallas Page is working on a new book called “Live Life at 90%.”
  • April 1, 2004: DDP updates his commentary and announces that he’ll come out of retirement to work independent shows (april fools?).
  • June 30, 2004: DDP announces on his website that he has separated from Kimberly under mutual terms with “no bad blood at all”.

  • November 12, 2004 – TNA Impact: Monty Brown beat Raven when Diamond Dallas Page showed up and hit Raven with the Cutter!

  • November 26, 2004 – TNA Impact: Diamond Dallas Page reveals that his issue with Raven actually involves Erik Watts.
