In The Beginning:

  • Gail Kim grew up in Toronto and attended secondary school at York Memorial Collegiate Institute.
  • Gail Kim was a natural athlete and participated in many sports such as basketball, volleyball, soccer, baseball, badminton.
  • Gail Kim enrolled in the University of Toronto and majored in kinesology (the science of human movement).
  • Gail Kim transfered to Ryerson University and changed her major to nutrition.

  • Gail Kim enrolled in Ron Hutchinson’s Pro Wrestling Gym and began her training to become a wrestler.
  • December 2000: Gail Kim made her professional wrestling debut for Toronto’s Apocalypse Wrestling Federation.
  • Gail Kim originally debuted under a mask and being called La Felina but eventually lost her mask in a match with Tracy Brooks.
  • March 24, 2002: La Felina defeated Tracy Brooks and Phoenix in a 3-WAY Womans match.

  • October 2002: Gail Kim signed a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment.
