United States Wrestling Association:

  • Mid 1997: The Fake Diesel lost a “loser leaves USWA” match to The Fake Razor Ramon to prepare for a NEW gimmick in the WWF.
  • July 13, 1997: Wrestling as the ‘masked’ Doomsday, Glenn Jacobs beat Spellbinder for the USWA Southern heavyweight title.

World Wrestling Federation – Kane:

  • Glenn Jacobs struggled to find a workable gimmick until Vince McMahon offered him the part of Kane (the brother of the Undertaker).
  • Paul Bearer began appearing on Television claiming that Undertaker’s dead brother was in fact still alive and had a secret to tell.
  • The secret was that the fire that his brother had died in was actually set by the Undertaker, but he told police that Kane set the fire.
  • October 5, 1997 – Bad Blood – Shawn Michaels defeated The Undertaker in a Hell in the Cell match when Kane (debut) interfered!
  • October 6, 1997 – RAW: The Hardy Boys vs The Truth Commission ended in a No Contest when Kane interfered.
  • October 31, 1997 – House Show: Kane defeated Vader.
  • November 3, 1997 – RAW: Kane defeated Ahmed Johnson.
  • November 9, 1997 – Survivor Series: Kane defeated Mankind.
  • December 6, 1997 – Degeneration X: Jeff Jarrett defeated The Undertaker by disqualification after Kane attacked Jeff Jarrett.
  • December 10-15, 1997 – House Show: Kane defeated Chainz.
  • January 18, 1998 – Royal Rumble: Kane attacked The Undertaker and locked him in a casket, poured gasoline on it and set it on fire!
  • February 15, 1998 – No Way Out: Kane defeated Vader.

  • September 27, 1998 – Breakdown: Brothers of Destruction both defeated Steve Austin for the WWF title, which was immediately held up.

  • October 5, 1998 – RAW: Ken Shamrock defeated Kane.
  • October 12, 1998 – RAW: Steve Austin and The Rock vs The Brothers of Destruction ended in a no contest.

  • February 2, 2004 – RAW: Trish Stratus was forced into a match with Kane, but Chris Jericho saved her and the match never happened.
  • ~~~Kane then had another match against Goldberg, which ended in a no contest when the ring started to steam and Kane ran away.

  • May 24, 2004 – RAW: Lita confesses her love to Matt Hardy, but bumps into Kane, who continues to intimidate Lita.
  • May 31, 2004 – RAW: Eugene was forced to wrestle the Big Red Machine, and won by disqualification when Kane used a chair (Chris Benoit ran out for the save!).
  • June 7, 2004 – RAW: La Resistance vs Chris Benoit in a Handicap Match is a no contest when Edge interferes.
  • ~~~Bischoff changed the match: La Resistance and Kane defeated Chris Benoit and Edge (Kane pinned Benoit!).
  • ~~~Later on, Kane confessed to Lita that he lied when he told her that Lita’s commitment to him was over.
  • June 13, 2004 – Bad Blood: Chris Benoit defeated Kane to retain the World Heavyweight championship.
  • June 14, 2004 – RAW: Jim Ross tries to initiate a handshake between Triple H and Shawn Michaels after their Hell in a Cell match.
  • ~~~Kane showed up and attacked Shawn Michaels (HHH ran away) and put HBK’s head between a folding chair and stomped it!
  • ~~~A bloodied HBK was stretchered out as is out of action with a “crushed larynx” (storyline).
  • ~~~Later that night, Lita took a pregnancy test and found out that she was Pregnant! (presumably with Matt Hardy’s baby).
  • June 21, 2004 – RAW: Matt Hardy was about to propose to Lita – when Kane revealed that Lita was carrying HIS baby!
  • June 28, 2004 – RAW: Chris Benoit defeated Kane by tap out to retain the World title. After the match, Lita came down and pretended to be proud of Kane but ended up kicking him between the legs. He snapped and picked Lita up for a chokeslam but came to his senses and put her down, but warned her not to do it again!
  • July 5, 2004 – RAW in Winnipeg: Batista defeated Kane by disqualification after Matt Hardy attacked Kane!
  • July 11, 2004 – Vengeance: Matt Hardy defeated Kane in a no disqualification Grudge Match.
  • July 12, 2003 – RAW: Lita gets in Kane’s face, telling him off, and screams that she refuses to be the ‘victim’ any longer. He took out his frustrations on Chris Jericho – Jericho defeated Kane by disqualification.
  • July 19, 2004 – RAW: Chris Jericho defeated Kane by disqualification in a “Falls Count Anywhere” match when Batista interfered!
  • July 26, 2004 – RAW: Kane and Matt Hardy find each other in the middle of a Battle Royal and brawl around the ring.
  • August 2, 2004 – RAW: Matt Hardy and Lita ‘kiss and make up’ as Hardy proposes to marry Lita in Vegas. Later on, Kane tricks Lita into agreeing to a Kane vs Matt Hardy match at Summerslam where the winner gets to marry Lita!
  • August 9, 2004 – RAW: Lita tell Matt Hardy that she took a maternity test and found out that Kane was the father of the baby. Matt Hardy flipped out, but reluctantly took part in the contract signing, where all three signed the Summerslam contract.
  • August 15, 2004 – Summerslam: Kane defeated Matt Hardy in a “Til Death Do Us Part” match to earn the right to marry Lita!
  • August 16, 2004 – RAW: Edge defeated Kane to retain the IC title with help from Lita and Matt Hardy.
  • August 23, 2004 – RAW: Kane and Lita were officially married during their wedding from hell but not without its own drama.
  • ~~~Lita refused to wear the white dress Kane had picked out for her and came out wearing a black dress which angered Kane.
  • ~~~Matt Hardy showed up to rescue Lita, but a wall of fire kept them from escaping, and Kane chokeslammed him off the stage!
  • August 30, 2004 – RAW: Lita tells Kane that she had signed him to wrestle Shawn Michaels at Unforgiven.
  • September 6, 2004 – RAW: Randy Orton defeated Kane to retain the World title after a Cage was lowered midway through the match!
  • September 12, 2004 – Unforgiven: Shawn Michaels defeated Kane w/Lita in a “No disqualification” match.

  • September 13, 2004 – RAW: Kane vs Gene Snitsky in a “No disqualification” match is ruled a no contest.
  • ~~~He was going to try and break Snitsky’s neck like he did to HBK, but Lita stopped him.
  • ~~~When Kane was arguing with Lita, Snitsky hit him in the back with the chair, knocking Kane onto Lita!
  • ~~~Lita was then taken away on a stretcher and taken to the hospital in an ambulance.
  • September 20, 2004 – RAW: Kane, discovering Lita had miscarriaged, goes on a demonic rant saying Gene Snitsky is a DEAD MAN!
  • September 27, 2004 – RAW: He does a sit down interview and says his son won’t be the only person to DIE from this situation.
  • October 4, 2004 – RAW: Gene Snitsky comes down to the ring for an interview with Jim Ross pushing a baby stroller.
  • ~~~Kane quickly appeared and went after Gene Snitsky, who then pulled a lead pipe out of the stroller and whacked with it!
  • October 11, 2004 – RAW: Kane gets so infuriated that he brutally attacked Stevie Richards and put Val Venis in the hospital.
  • October 18, 2004 – RAW: Gene Snitsky pushes Lita against the wall and says Kane will lose the match, just like Lita lost her baby!
  • October 19, 2004 – Taboo Tuesday: Gene Snitsky defeated Kane in a Weapon of Choice Match (fans voted 41% for Chain match).
  • ~~~Gene Snitsky wrapped Kane’s neck with a steel chair and jumped off the top rope “crushing his throat”.
  • October 2004: Took time off to film a WWE-produced movie called “Eye Scream Man” (later renamed “Goodnight” then to “See No Evil”).

  • January 15, 2005 – Live Event: Kane defeated Gene Snitsky in a Royal Rumble Qualifying match.
  • January 9, 2005 – New Year’s Revolution: Kane defeated Gene Snitsky in a Grudge match after hitting a tombstone piledriver!
  • January 10, 2005 – RAW: Gene Snitsky attacked Kane from behind and smashed a steel chair and whipped him with a weight belt!

  • ~~~Kane entered the Royal Rumble at #27, but didn’t last very long as he was eliminated by John Cena.
  • January 31, 2005 – RAW: Kane defeated Gene Snitsky in a steel cage match.

  • ~~~Luke Gallows came out and kicked Kane in the face, pulled Punk out of the casket and they ran for their lives! Kane chased them.

  • June 25, 2010 – SmackDown: Kane vs. C.M. Punk in a No-disqualification match ended in a no contest when the match spilled outside the building.
  • ~~~C.M. Punk went through two tables in the lobby before getting up and literally running out the door and into the night to escape.
  • July 2, 2010 – SmackDown: Kane defeated Luke Gallows w/C.M. Punk by disqualification after the mystery masked S.E.S. member interfered.
  • ~~~Kane accused Punk and the S.E.S. of attacking the Undertaker, so Serena showed a video proving that Punk had nothing to do with it.
  • July 9, 2010 – SmackDown: The Big Show vs. Jack Swagger ended in a double countout when Kane dragged Swagger backstage.
  • ~~~Kane accused Swagger of taking out the Undertaker.. Swagger claimed he had an alibi so Kane gave him one week to prove it!
  • July 16, 2010 – SmackDown: Kofi Kingston vs. “Dashing” Cody Rhodes ended in a No Contest when Kane destroyed both of them.
  • ~~~Kane said he knows that Jack Swagger is a liar and will pay for his sins and he will enjoy extracting his vengeance tonight!.
  • ~~~LATER: Jack Swagger brought his dad out and showed videos of them doing activities on the day Undertaker was attacked.
  • ~~He didn’t believe him, so a fight broke out – Swagger escaped – but left his father (played by Jimmy Golden) to get choke-slammed!
  • July 18, 2010 – Money in the Bank: Won the SmackDown Money in the Bank Ladder match to earn a world heavyweight title shot.

  • ~~~~He then cashed in his title shot the same night, defeating Rey Mysterio to capture the world heavyweight title!

  • July 23, 2010 – SmackDown: Kane bragged about winning Money in the Bank and successfully cashing in his contract to win the title.
  • ~LATER: Rey Mysterio defeated Jack Swagger in a #1 Contenders match (Swagger tried to break Rey’s ankle but Kane made the save!)
  • ~~~He then turned on Rey and tried to choke-slam him, but he countered the move and nailed Kane with the 619.
  • July 30, 2010 – SmackDown: Claimed that the Undertaker briefly woke up and uttered the name of his assailant. Rey Mysterio!
  • ~~~Jack Swagger vs. Rey Mysterio in a No-disqualification match ended when Rey threw Swagger into a river and Kane threw Rey in after him!
  • August 6, 2010 – SmackDown: Rey Mysterio defeated Drew McIntyre – (Kane wheeled a casket down to ringside after the match).
  • ~~~Rey escaped the ring and ran up to the stage and yelled “I did not take out the Undertaker, you did Kane!” (Kane freaked out!)
  • August 13, 2010 – SmackDown: World Heavyweight champion Kane defeated Kofi Kingston – (Kane said Rey Mysterio was guilty!)
  • ~~~LATER: He pushed a casket down to ringside during Rey’s match – Rey hit Kane with a 619 and knocked Kane into the casket!

  • ~~~After the match, the Undertaker showed up and asked Rey why he did it. Rey said he didn’t do it and Undertaker believed him.
  • ~~~The Undertaker then realized it was KANE who attacked him. Taker then went after him, but for some reason Kane was more powerful!

  • August 20, 2010 – SmackDown: Cut a very long speech about his history with the Undertaker and explained why he did what he did.

  • ~~~It turned out to be a dummy and the real Paul Bearer was still tied up in the back seat of Edge’s car as it sped off into the darkness.
  • December 3, 2010 – SmackDown: Edge defeated Kane in a “Winner Chooses The Stipulation at TLC” match – (he chose a TLC match)
  • December 10, 2010 – SmackDown: Rey Mysterio and Edge defeated World champion Kane and Alberto Del Rio in a preview main event match.

  • December 12, 2011 – RAW: Appeared at the entrance ramp interrupting a match inprogress between Mark Henry and John Cena.
  • ~~~He stalked to the ring and hit the stunned Cena with a choke slam. As he calls for the pyro, he unveils his new leather mask.
  • December 19, 2011 – RAW: Interrupted yet another confrontation between Mark Henry and John Cena.
  • ~~~After a staredown with Mark Henry outside of the ring, Kane entered only to be sent back outside by John Cena.
  • ~~~Kane took the upperhand and tossed Cena onto the announcer?s table and choked Cena while tearing his shirt off!
  • December 26, 2011 – RAW: Kane and Cena had a dialogue in which Kane urged John Cena to “embrace the hate” within him.
  • January 2, 2012 – RAW: Kane declared that John Cena will be forced to embrace the hate tonight.
  • ~~~After he ditched a three-man tag team match and caused partners Swagger and Big Show a loss; Kane made his presence known.
  • ~~~While Cena walked up the entrance ramp to meet him, Kane pulled a switcheroo and appeared up from under the ring. Oh No!
  • ~~~Zack Ryder was dropped by a big boot via Kane. He then stymied a retaliation by Cena and attempted to pull Ryder into the hole.
  • ~~~Being thwarted by Cena, Kane retreated into the hole and a pillar of fire erupted from which Kane came/left. January 2, 2012 – RAW: John Cena, Zack Ryder and The Big Show defeated Jack Swagger, Mark Henry and Kane (No Show).
  • January 9, 2012 – RAW: Kane began the show insulting the audience and stood on his soapbox pushing his “Embrace the Hate” campaign.
  • ~~~ After a lot of jaw-jacking, John Cena interrupted him and brawled with him all the way up the ramp andinto the back.
  • ~~~ Eventually, we see Cena laid out as we go to break. Kane spent most of the show lurking around and scaring Zack Ryder.

  • ~~~He entered the ring, as Eve helplessly crawled away, only to be interrupted by John Cena – who whacked Kane with the ring steps.
  • ~~~With a smile on his face, Cena lifted Kane on his shoulders for an AA through the announcer’s table – but Kane blocked it and ran!
  • February 6, 2012 – RAW: He cornered a frightened Eve backstage and expressed his that John Cena appears to be embracing the hate.
  • ~~~Kane added that he was also scared, if John Cena doesn?t embrace the hate soon, something will happen to Eve.
  • February 12, 2012 – RAW: He locked Eve in a ambulance. Cena tussled with Kane in order to free Eve from the ambulance.
  • ~~~Eventually, John Cena prevailed and rescued Eve to be rewarded by a kiss. Ryder looked on oh so pitifully.
