Cara, 28, formerly Mistico, whose real name is Luis Ignacio Urive Alvride, spoke on tape with sports newspaper Récord this past week saying that he injected a medication into his knee, which may have contained steroids, which eventually led to his suspension. Cara claims that he doesn’t use any drugs other than prescribed pain medication. “The vibe is that he’s done,” one well-placed WWE source told Wrestling Globe. “Vince wants him pulled from all promotion and he may not be brought back again.” Another WWE source indicated that Cara would be brought back following his 30-day lay off, and noted an upcoming a tour of Mexico. “As Mistico, he was one of the biggest draws in the history of Lucha… it wouldn’t make any sense business-wise not to use him on the next tour. He’s money in Mexico and his merchandise is among the best sellers.” Cara is currently listed on all the Smackdown show advertising for WWE’s Mexican tour in October. It’s the biggest tour the company has ever done in the country as they will be taping TV for the first time over two nights in Mexico City.
