  • August 10, 2002 – Global Warming: The Rock defeated Brock Lesnar and Triple H in a triple threat match to retain the Undisputed title.
  • August 12, 2002 – RAW: Christian, Lance Storm, Test and Triple H defeated Booker T, Goldust, The Rock and The Undertaker in a crazy 8-man tag match.

  • ~~~Earlier, HHH accused Kane of not only murdering Katie Vick, but raping her, either before or after she was dead (lame).

  • ~~~Triple H and Shawn Michaels got rid of the Spirit Squad and then gave McMahon the “DX Crotch Chop” signalling the return of D-X!
  • June 19, 2006 – RAW: Vince McMahon had his revenge planned for DX but was left the building when he heard Stephanie was in labour!
  • ~~~The Spirit Squad showed up during the show and called out Degeneration-X but they ended up getting covered in green slime!.
  • ~~~Later On: DX (HHH and HBK) had their official in-ring reunion, and admitted that they made up the story about Stephanie – Oops!

  • WWE.com immediately reported that Triple H tore his right quadriceps while executing a spinebuster on Randy Orton.
  • ~~~What’s so ironic is that it was five years to the day when HHH returned to WWE TV after a similar injury in 2001.
  • January 8, 2007: Dr. James Andrews diagnosed HHH’s injury as a torn quadripceps tendon and he will require surgery.

  • December 21, 2009 – RAW: DX took part in a series of comedy sketches with Hornswoggle and a special “Little People’s Court”.
  • ~~~The Big Show asked Santa Clause to allow his best friend Jericho back on RAW, and Santa curiously agreed for some reason.
  • ~~~Hornswoggle showed up and pulled Santa’s beard revealing Chris Jericho! Some Little People came out to defend Hornswoggle.
  • ~~Big Show and Chris Jericho bullied Hornswoggle and beat up some Little People until Triple H and Shawn Michaels made the save!
  • ~~~Triple H and Shawn Michaels said if Hornswoggle dropped the court stuff they would make him the official DX mascot.
  • December 25, 2009 – SmackDown!: DX defeated The Hart Dynasty w/Natalya Neidhart to retain the WWE Unified Tag Team titles.
  • ~~~After the match, DX mascot Hornswoggle came out and joined DX in the ring to wish the fans a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Mike Aldren wrote (On January 17, 2011): The latest issue of WWE magazine has a feature on Triple H. In regard to his return, he said: “If I can’t do this the way I feel like I should be able to, then I want to be done. And I don’t want to come back here and tarnish that. I don’t want to do the nostalgia run where I come out and say I’m the greatest in the world.” He talked about how when he broke in, he was able to learn from many veterans while today there are very few guys still active to learn from. He also said he’s in a position now where he doesn’t need to be the champion to be a top guy.

  • April 6, 2014 – WrestleMania XXX: Daniel Bryan defeated Triple H to earn a spot in WrestleMania XXX’s triple threat main event for the WWE world heavyweight championship.
  • April 7, 2014 – RAW: WWE world heavyweight champion Daniel Bryan fought Triple H to a ‘no contest’.  Bryan retains the title.
  • April 14, 2014 – RAW: The Shield defeated Alberto Del Rio, Fandango, Heath Slater, Titus O’Neil, Jack Swagger, Jinder Mahal, Drew McIntyre, Ryback, Curtis Axel, Alexander Rusev, and Wade Barrett by disqualification when Triple H, Batista, and Randy Orton interfered.
