During an episode of Missy’s Manor, Missy announced that WSU will be creating a tag team championship division. Missy showed off the tag team title belts to the crowd. Becky Bayless interrupted Missy, as Becky continues to disrespect every female legend in the business. Missy said she knew Becky had a surprise tonight and revealed that she knew Becky had Angelina Love in her corner for later tonight. Missy turned the tables and revealed that she will be managing Dawn Marie, in the highly anticipated Dawn Marie vs Becky Bayless II match.

A sell out crowd was on hand as New England Championship Wrestling presented the 5th Annual IRON 8 Championship Tournament, Saturday night, May 31 at the National Guard Armory in Quincy, MA.The evening began when all 8 competitors were announced to the ring and posed together as a group with the 2008 IRON 8 Championship trophy. The competitors were Gran Akuma, “The Golden Greek” Alex Arion, “The Real Deal” Brandon Locke, “Japanese Nightmare” Kahagas, “Exotic” Kristian Frost, Julio Dinero, “The Natural” Scott Osbourne, and defending champion “Die Hard” Eddie Edwards.
In the opening semi-final tournament contest, Gran Akuma defeated “The Exotic” Kristian Frost with a cross-arm pinning combo to advance to the IRON 8 Final.

NWA Upstate FINALLY returned to action after a three-month absence Saturday May 17th for it’s four year anniversary show, Anniversary Anarchy IV. With everything that went down at February Fallout and the various changes that were made leading up to and even before the show, this may have been the most highly anticipated show in Upstate history. Center of Gravity is often referred to as the name of the company that owns it, Zero Gravity Circus, and little wonder since that name is spread all over the place. Kinda makes me wonder why ZGC are so anal about having their name on YouTube or elsewhere. They recently went after me for posting a video of the last wrestling event held in this venue (Stranglehold) because they didn’t want ZGC to be associated with anything they didn’t actually promote. Dicks.

Everyone at VPW would like to thank the over 320 fans that packed in the Centereach VFW Hall on a rainy Friday night. VPW would also like to thank our special guests, WWE Hall of Fame Inductee Greg “The Hammer” Valentine and TNA Star Shark Boy.

The VPW Tag Team Championship Tournament kicked off with an exciting first round match that saw Eclipse defeat the debuting Funky Fresh Boyz. The debuting K-Fresh and K-Funk had an impressive debut, but it wasn’t enough to out due Xandar Page and Jay Delta.

World Women’s Wrestling returned to the Good Time Emporium in Somerville, MA this past Sunday, May 4th, presenting the first ever BELLE OF THE BRAWL!

In the opening contest, Mistress Belmont continued her singles win streak with a pin fall victory on the debuting Taeler.

The agent of WWW Champion, “The Portuguese Princess” Ariel, Brendan Michael Thomas, came to the ring and stated that he had “pulled some strings” and made sure that Lexxus would not be given any more rematches or title opportunities until she had successfully worked her way all the way back up the ladder of contention from the bottom.
