My Turning Point 2009 Predictions
Our resident philosopher breaks out his crystal ball, tea leaves and lucky coin to try and decipher and predict the outcomes and future ramifications of this minor Pay Per View

TNA is back with another PPV offering. This one is not even in the same ballpark as their spectacular Bound For Glory show. This second-rate effort is going to throw a lot of nowhere feuds and pretend threats to championships at the fans. I’m not impressed, as you will be able to tell as you read on.

Team 3D & Rhino v Matt Morgan, Hernandez and D’Angelo Dinero

Backstory: Ok, Rhino gets all paranoid and thinks “they” are out to get him. With his recent string of losses, he might be right. Anyway, he’s now convinced Brother Ray and Brother Devon that they are next on the victim list. Team 3D were battling Hernandez and Morgan, when Ray blith-whapped his opponents with a chair. Ray now suddenly buys all Rhino’s baloney and wants to protect himself from the “evil ones”. Speaking of “evil ones”, D’Angelo Dinero, who was off for a family emergency, is back. This time, he joins the yound studs to battle the old guard.

Predictions: My biggest question is: What the heck is Dinero doing on the face side of this one? He comes into TNA as a replacement for Ron Killings, basically, and gets thrown into a decent heel role. He has some kind of emergency and suddenly he’s the face savior. I can only imagine that Suicide is going to turn heel. Speaking of Suicide, I noticed that he’s not on the card, anywhere. To keep the conspiracy theory going, Team 3D and Rhino really need to lose this one. I see the ending as Rhino goes for a Gore! but missed. Dinero then catches Rhino with the D-D-E to take the win.

Predicted Winners: D’Angelo Dinero, Hernandez and Matt Morgan
Predicted Grade: B-

Bobby Lashley v. Scott Steiner

Backstory: Steiner takes a liking to Bobby’s better half and the war is on. That’s pretty much what the tired re-used-a-million-times feud is all about. Just like Rude/Roberts, Flair/Precious and probably a dozen more, Lashley is defending the honor of his family against the lustful Steiner. Oh, Puh-leeze!

Predictions: This is definitely the Beer Run match of the night. This feud was given absolutely no time to build before the near-sighted writers decided to run with a major battle. This is definitiely a no-win situation. If Steiner loses, the feud is dead in teh water. If Lashley loses, it kills any momentum that he had. I just have to think that TNA will go with the smart move and have Lashley destroy Steiner. Lashley could then move another step up the ladder and Steiner could fade into retirement (or join Booker T over in McMahon-Land).

Predicted Winner: Bobby Lashley
Predicted Grade: D

The British Invasion v Beer Money Inc. v The Motor City Machine Guns
TNA World Tag Title Triple Threat Match

Backstory: The Motor City Machine Guns won this title shot at Bound For Glory. Beer Money won their way into the mix with a win on Thursday’s Impact. The Brits took the straps at Bound For Glory and then got themselves suspended for smacking as ref to keep their belts in a match against Beer Money on Impact.

Predictions: This one seems rather complicated but I don’t think it’s going to turn out that way. With Beer Money beating the odds to earn this shot, common sense says they will take the belts. I don’t think so. I’m going with the Guns to take the straps. This could play into the whole Team 3D comspiracy thing and lead to a few really decent matches between the two teams.

Predicted Winners: Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley (New Champions)
Predicted Grade: A

Tara v Awesome Kong
Six Sides of Steel Cage Match

Backstory: Tara, the former Victoria, showed up in TNA a few months back. She immediately set her sights on the top woman in the company, Kong. Kong tried to squash Tara’s pet spider, Poison. Kong has recently disposed of her long-time handler, This latest match is going to be inside the six-sided steel cage.

Prediction: This match means absolutely nothing, since neither woman holds the Knockout belt. If Kong were to hold the belt, I’d give it to Tara. If Tara held it, Kong would win. There is just no way in Heaven or Hell that Tara will get Kong up into the Widow’s Peak. That neutralizes her biggest weapon. The only way I see Tara winning this one is if Raisha Saeed gets involved. Otherwise, Kong hits the Implant Buster and takes the win.

Predicted Winner: Awesome Kong
Predicted Grade: A-

The Amazing Red v Homicide
X-Division Title Match

Backstory: Red pulled off a huge upset when he defeated Samoa Joe for the X-Division title. He did have a little help from Bobby Lashley. Homicide has turned back into his old street thug character after joining the World Elite. He has mugged Red’s promoter, Don West, and raided Mick Foley’s office to steal the barbed wire bat.

Prediction: TNA has so much more that they can do with a Red X-Division title reign. I can’t imagine that they would end his first-ever reign so quickly. This match should be a warp speed affair with tons of high-risk moves and near falls. I’m expecting Homicide to get frustrated and attack either Red, the ref or both. Red gets busted open but keeps the straps, thanks to the DQ.

Predicted Winner: Amazing Red (by DQ)
Predicted Grade: A

ODB and Taylor Wilde and Sarita v The Beautiful People
All Knockout Titles on the Line Match

Backstory: Kong took her first Knockout title from her former beau, Cody Deaner. Sarita and Taylor Wilde won a tournament to become the first Knockout tag team champions. In this upcoming match, both the Knockout singles and tag belts are on the line.

Prediction: This has been billed as an All-or-Nothing match. If any of the Beautiful People were to take the pin, all the belts would go to Von Erich, Sky and Rayne. If that stands, then the straps will stay put and there will be chaos inside the Beautiful People. If they change it to where each champion is individually defended, then the Beuatiful People will take the tag belts and ODB keeps her title. I wish Lacey would take the singles title but she’s not ready. The other two Beautiful People aren’t strong enough to hold the singles title. I’m going to say that the titles will not change hands. I’m expecting ODB to take the win, which will set ODB v Lacey in the near future.

Predicted Winners: ODB, Taylor Wilde and Sarita
Predicted Grade: B

Kurt Angle v Desmond Wolfe

Backstory: The Main Event Mafia is gone. Booker T has left the company. Steiner has gone after Bobby Lashley. Nash is doing…well…something. In the middle of all this chaos, Desmond Wolfe (the former Nigel McGuiness) has arrived in TNA to eliminate Kurt and take his place. Wolfe has attacked Kurt, several times. So far, Wolfe has dominated.

Prediction: TNA is trying to push Wolfe to the top too fast. If Wolfe truly destroys Kurt, as he claims he will do, Kurt might as well join Booker T back in WWE. If Wolfe really gets trashed, he will be effectively useless as a top heel. The only way that this won’t weaken the company is if neither man is dominate. Expect a double DQ in this wild and wooly battle.

Predicted Winner: Double DQ
Predicted Grade: B+

A.J. Styles v Samoa Joe v Daniels
TNA World Championship Match

Backstory: These three met several years ago in a stellar match. Styles has been attacked, several times, recently. It looked like it might be Daniels. There was another masked man who jumped A.J. while Daniels and Samoa Joe were in the ring. Styles slapped his long-time friend on the most recent edition of Impact, when Daniels came to the ring during a match between Joe and Styles. Joe was able to lock in the Kokina Clutch to take the non-title win.

Prediction: The unknown masked man is the key to this bout. Since it does not appear that Daniels was behind the attack, taht leaves two options: another contender to Styles or a new member of Joe’s Nation of Violence. I think the mystery person (possibly the former Mr. Kennedy) will show up to attack Styles. It’s possible the mystery man might be Sting but I don’t think TNA would risk turning Sting heel. If the name “Black Scorpion” or something similar comes out, it’s him. No matter what happens on Sunday, Styles will go home with the gold

Predicted Winner: A.J. Styles
Predicted Grade: A-

Final Grade: B

Final Thoughts: TNA will play safe with this PPV. Don’t expect Hogan to show up or any major title changes, other than the tag belts. With Survivor Series coming a week after this, many fans will save their pennies for one of the WWE’s Big Four. This PPV won’t try to over-power that show, even if it could. It will be a decent PPV but nothing substantial.

“THE BOOGEYMAN” MARTY WRIGHT SHOOTS DOWN RUMORS OF HIS DISAPPEARANCE, EXPLAINS WHY HE TOOK NO BOOKINGS IN OCTOBER, TALKS TNA, AND MORE IN HIS FIRST INTERVIEW SINCE LEAVING WWE By WorldWrestlingInsanity.com

That’s right. He’s the red faced demon who wormed his way into your hearts. Now, after months of rumors, “The Boogeyman” Marty Wright joins ClubWWI.com to set the record straight and shoot down false rumors…in his first shoot interview…EVER!

With a career in World Wrestling Entertainment that many fans will never forget, Marty’s story doesn’t end there. In fact, it was just beginning. Hounded by speculation about his recent “disappearance,” Wright has plenty to talk about life after WWE, people who represented him, his view on WWE, TNA, and tons more including: The False Reports of His “Disappearance,” Why He Was MIA, Going To TNA, Creating The Boogeyman Gimmick, False Stories of His Worm Eating, Why Booker T Deserves Credit For Their WrestleMania Match, Being Busted For Lying About His Age At Tough Enough Try-Outs, WWE’s Goal For His Character, Why That Didn’t Work Out, Being a “Former Actor” When He Debuted, The Wrestler He Prays To Work With, Scaring a Kid To Teach Her a Lesson, Losing His Teeth, The Boogeyman Voice, Kurt Angle, Team 3D, Dusty Rhodes, Jimmy “Boogie Woogie Man” Valiant, and More

People have been clamoring for answers from Marty “Boogeyman” Wright ever since agent Scott Epstein sent out an email to websites explaining that he could not get in contact with him. Scott apologized for Wright’s “no-shows” and pleaded with him to be more professional in handling his bookings. During his ClubWWI.com shoot, James Guttman asked the former Boogeyman about this situation and the story was quite different than fans may have thought:

“Well, that whole story…I’m not gonna bury anyone. That’s not what this interview is all about. But Scott Epstein definitely buried me.”

James asks him about the confusion regarding bookings. Had Marty accepted and then disappeared? Wright explains to ClubWWI.com listeners:

“I had spoke with Scott Epstein prior, at one point in time. OK? And told him I did not want to do anything in the month of October because there was a possibility – a slight possibility – but a chance that I might be going back to WWE for a Halloween special that month. That idea was brought to my attention so I wanted to leave the month of October open in case that does happen. That didn’t happen and Scott took it upon himself to make all these bookings – not once confirming with me those dates. And I had already told him I didn’t want to do anything for the month of October. So for all those people that he said that I committed to, I want to apologize for any inconvenience that Scott put you in, because I certainly didn’t agree to those particular date. It’s sad enough that my name had to be dragged through the dirt to raise another person’s image….I never once, and God is my witness, ever confirmed any dates that Scott said I was supposed to be at.”

Marty goes on to discuss life on the Indies, “agents,” the new character he would use on the Independent scene, not getting paid from Scott, and more.

One question that leads to is TNA. ClubWWI.com listeners have wondered it and fans across the world ask him. What about Total Nonstop Action? Could we see the worms make an appearance?

“TNA is another organization with many friends from WWE who have been in the business for a long time. Bubba and Devon – Team 3D. Kurt Angle. They even have Bobby Lashley over there at this point in time. Again., hats off to those guys. As far as me going to TNA, you can never really know what the future holds. But I can tell you this, you will see my face on that TV screen soon enough.”

He was The Boogeyman! And he’s comin’ to getcha! But you can get to him first…by logging on to ClubWWI.com right now for his first interview since leaving WWE!

The full 32 minute shoot with Marty “Boogeyman” Wright is up exclusively on ClubWWI.com right now and along with 200 stars, you’ll have plenty of superstars to put on your Ipod, Phone, burn to CD, or just listen through your computer. Stars you can hear the minute you sign up include: Sean Mooney, Sim Snuka, Lance Cade, Jesse Ventura, Bobby Lashley, Vince Russo, Jerry Lawler, Hillbilly Jim, The Killer Bees, Ron Simmons, Magnum T.A., Kevin Sullivan, Mr. Fuji, The Iron Sheik, Rory McAllister, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Tommy Rich, Tully Blanchard, Ken Patera, Bobby Heenan, Terri Runnels, Kevin Nash, Kenny Dykstra, Outback Jack, Paul Orndorff, Headbanger Mosh, Terry Funk, Trevor Murdoch, Eric Bischoff, Nikita Koloff, Nunzio, John Cena Sr., Kizarny, Armando Estrada, Dangerous Danny Davis, Ronnie Garvin, Clarence Mason, Dave Taylor Colin Delaney, Jim Mitchell, Chris Harris, Ahmed Johnson, Glacier, Balls Mahoney, Francine, Sid Vicious, Paul Bearer, Brian Knobbs, Bruno Sammartino, Bryan Clark, Sean Mooney, Scott D’Amore, Tito Santana, Al Snow, Tod Gordon, JJ Dillon, Charlie Haas, Tom Prichard, Jacques Rougeau, Paul Roma, Jim Powers, Tammy Sytch, Too Cold Scorpio, The Honky Tonk Man, Ole Anderson, Kid Kash, Ivan Koloff, Jackie Gayda, Mr. Hughes, Scotty 2 Hotty, Dawn Marie, John Heidenreich, Jimmy Hart, Jimmy Valiant, Rick Martel, Manny Fernandez, Bad News Brown, Tony “T.L.
Here are some of the highlights of Tyler’s exclusive interview, provided by The Mayhem’s official correspondent, Paterson From New Jersey:

===========================================================================================================

Tyler Black joined The Monday Night Mayhem Radio Network for his first trip into the squared circle of “Your Home Of Wrestling Radio,” coming off of the heels of ROH’s returns to Philadelphia & New Jersey this past weekend. There are many wrestling fans that indeed are thinking about going to the forthcoming Ring Of Honor shows this weekend (in the Detroit & Toronto areas), and Tyler was asked to handicap the vibe & feelings going on in ROH currently. “Lately I would say in the last couple of months, almost since Bryan (Danielson) & Nigel (McGuniess) left the company, we really hit a stride in overall production. I don’t know if it was the addition of Jim Cornette or what, but it kind of lit a spark under everyone’s ass, and we’ve been working really hard. I think our last two TV tapings have been the best we have done so far for HDNet.”

After leaving TNA a few months ago, Jim Cornette made his way back to Ring Of Honor as Executive Producer of ROH On HDNet, and many journalists, critics, & fans alike are saying that this move can only help the company in the long run. Tyler was asked about his impact on ROH since coming in once again. “Jimmy has only been with for a short time, and people were asking who was going help us out whether it be Ric Flair or Bret Hart, but I think we got a coup with Jim Cornette leaving TNA & coming to help us. He’s a smart guy, and he’s been in the business for decades and just being around having him in the locker room has me immensely. I think the most important thing it has helped the energy of everything. People were kinda down, and he came in gave us a great vibe.”

Many fans see Tyler Black as the talent that can lead Ring Of Honor going forward as the next ROH World Champion leading into the new calendar year ahead. Mosh asked him about the pressure associated with this & whether he welcomes the pressure going forward, as he could leading the company in the next year. “I’ve gotten lucky that I have had a lot of high-pressure experience over the last few years, so I’ve gotten to the point where I’m comfortable & almost thrive under pressure. Having the World Title & carrying that weight on my shoulders is something I look forward to hopefully in the near future in 2010 & beyond.”

As is the trend every year, Ring Of Honor will be showcasing its talent in the city that WrestleMania is held in…with fans from across the globe converging on the locale of Phoenix, AZ area. With rumors swirling that World Wrestling Entertainment are looking very hard at ROH talent, including Tyler Black, how does he feel about going there and if he feels he is ready for that kind of a jump? “I know I could into the WWE & compete with those guys. And that’s a testament to Ring Of Honor, because we’ve had the experience on TV…we’ve done the Pay-Per-Views. So whatever disadvantages I’m presumed to have going into that situation, I think are not true. I could in there & stand toe-to-toe with anybody in that company & blow them out of the water.” And his thoughts on WrestleMania weekend: “I’m really excited for WrestleMania weekend as I always am, and I hope the fans are too. It’s a crazy weekend…There’s events Friday, Saturday, Sunday. the Hall Of Fame, WrestleMania, the Dragon Gate USA show, and we’re running two shows on Friday & Saturday. There’s so much going on as a fan, and it’s going to be a blast. And hopefully the eyes of the wrestling world, whether they be the WWE people, checking us out or trying to put the kibosh on us. It’s nice because obviously they are worried to some effect. We’re on the radar.”

Blade asked Tyler about the fans of Ring Of Honor, who are extremely passionate & loyal about the product and who do not want their favorite talents to leave. Names like CM Punk, Samoa Joe, Colt Canada & most recently Nigel McGuinness & “The American Dragon” Bryan Danielson have gone on to the WWE or TNA, and a large majority of the rabid ROH fans think their careers will suffer for that. Tyler sincerely believes that the cream does rise to the top when it comes to those who have moved on from ROH, but it’s mainly up to the guys to make their mark. “The successes are few & far in between. A lot of that might have to do with the politics of pro wrestling. Everyone who has come out of Ring Of Honor is capable, and if given the opportunity, they can succeed. Colt Cabana is an incredible talent, and as far as I’m concerned, he was mismanaged. And you have guys like Evan Bourne (Matt Sydal) & CM Punk who were given the opportunity to excel, and they took advantage of the opportunity. I hope they don’t do that to Bryan Danielson. He paid his dues more than anybody in the wrestling business, and hopefully he can showcase his talents for the rest of the world & that audience, and they will appreciate him.”

In closing, Tyler was asked a very important question: What is in store for Tyler Black & pro wrestling in 2010? “All I can hope for in 2010 is that it’s not going to be like the last decade in the wrestling business. Everything has kind of stagnated for the last decade, and hopefully whether it’s myself or someone else, we could bring change into the business & infuse some new energy. As for myself, I’m with Ring of Honor through 2010. If I’m the poster boy & the guy that’s going to carry the weight for that world, hopefully it’s the World Title, because I would love to have that opportunity & really be the face of the company for the future.”

More is contained in this exclusive interview with one of Ring Of Honor’s fiercest warriors, including his comments on his matches this weekend in Detroit against Claudio Castagnoli (happening for the first time ever in Ring Of Honor) & in the Toronto area against Roderick Strong (in a rematch from “Survival Of The Fittest 2009″). And for more ROH goodness, one-half of the hottest tag team circulating the independent scene, Nick Jackson of The Young Bucks, also joined The Mayhem to preview his team’s match against Kevin Steen & El Generico in “The Motor City” this Friday, what him & his brother (Matt) have planned for ROH’s fans in Mississauga, The Young Bucks’ chances at the ROH World Tag Team Titles & the team’s comparisons over the years to The Hardy Boyz, along with Nick’s thoughts on the recent WWE return of the man who helped train The Young Bucks, Marty Jannetty.
Here are some of the highlights of RVD’s exclusive interview, provided by The Mayhem’s official correspondent, Paterson From New Jersey:

===========================================================================================================

What better place for “Mr. Monday Night” to be on a Monday evening other than The Monday Night Mayhem Radio Network! “Mr. PPV” joined The Mosh, Blade, & “The Chairman Of The Board” Todd Vincent for his third appearance on the MNM airwaves. Rob thanked The Mayhem Crew for the chance to come back, as he is gearing up for a phenomenal overseas tour in November & December. For more information on where Rob is headed, log onto his official website (located at www.RobVanDam.com), along with his official MySpace page (located at www.MySpace.com/GoToRobVanDam.com.)

Since leaving World Wrestling Entertainment two years ago, rumors have continued to swirl that RVD Rob could be moving over to TNA…and those rumors kicked into high gear after he attended last month’s Bound For Glory PPV in California (as a guest of Booker T) and met both Dixie Carter & Vince Russo. Now that Hulk Hogan has officially signed with TNA, how appealing is TNA to RVD? The question on the hearts & minds of fans across the globe was answered exclusively on The Mayhem. “With Hulk Hogan & Eric Bischoff now in TNA, it’s a very interesting time in the wrestling business…and in a very positive way. I was at Bound For Glory saying hi to some friends. And part of that was ‘Oh hi Dixie, nice to meet you.’ We have talked on the phone…Same thing with Vince Russo. Now that Hogan & Bischoff are there, it’s definitely putting a lot of energy on TNA, a lot of focus & eyes. Now if they can follow up with that, they could really, really grow.” He went to add, “It’s more appealing because they raised the stakes.” You cannot miss a special edition of “Reel Time” (featuring ReelWrestling.com’s Chris Walsh & The Mayhem’s National TNA Correspondent, “Wild Bill Brown) as part of The Mayhem’s “Sweeps Month” kickoff, with more analysis & discussion on Hulk Hogan signing with TNA Wrestling…and what lies ahead for the company in 2010.

Many people in the wrestling industry are indeed skeptical about TNA’s acquisition of “The Hulkster,” with such superstars as The Honky Tonk Man saying Hogan joining the company very will could be “the end of TNA.” Others have speculated that some of Hogan’s long-time friends & colleagues (such as Brutus “The Barber” Beefacke & The Nasty Boys) could have jobs again in the business with Hogan in charge. RVD knows Hogan well (especially after having the opportunity to be a special guest trainer on last fall’s “Hulk Hogan’s Celebrity Championship Wrestling”), and was asked what can Hogan bring to the table at this time to TNA. “Hulk Hogan brings credibility & name recognition. A lot of people that don’t watch wrestling & many haven’t watched wrestling in five or ten years, they all know who Hulk Hogan is. He is a great representative of what wrestling can be. Should he have the book? I don’t know. Just because you have one talent in the business, doesn’t mean you have something else. I can’t imagine myself having the book & being in charge. If they do allow Knobbs & Beefcake and those guys to come in, we can all say TNA wasn’t that smart.”

This month, The Monday Night Mayhem Radio Network will be looking back at the ten-year anniversary of one of professional wrestling’s most-storied Pay-Per-Views, ECW’s November To Remember ‘99 (which took place in the hometown of The Mayhem: Buffalo, NY), along with its place in wrestling history, & the impact it left on the business. Many fans from the original ECW remember that was Taz’s last match with the company, and Taz’s final feud in the company while being an active member of the roster was against RVD. “The Chairman Of The Board” asked Rob about that night in Buffalo, what he remembers from the Pay-Per-View. “The night itself doesn’t stand out in a lot of way in my mind. The match I remember had a lot of momentum. I had a lot of special feelings for Taz at the time, and we had a little history with me being on Team Sabu & him being on Team Taz. I don’t remember the match that well, but I could pretty bet that RVD had a kick-ass match.” Mosh asked Rob about the legacy of November to Remember & how the fans will remember the event as a whole. “I think if nothing else since it had such a damn catchy title, I think the fans will always remember that. And if they were fortunate enough to be there live & be one of the fans that was part of that time period when we were all treated with these awesome extreme matches, then they will always remember it. Anytime you say November, you have remember in the back of your mind whether you say it enough.”

A couple of new DVD’s are in the pipeline from World Wrestling Entertainment (”The History Of The World Heavyweight Championship” & “Jeff Hardy: My Life, My Rules”) with some RVD’s best matches from years past being put on these upcoming DVD’s. Rob was asked if the industry can get back to when there was five-star matches all the time & if there can be a rebirth of sorts. “I would hope so, but I would understand if it went the other way too, because I had enough so I would understand when other people have had enough. I don’t watch wrestling in fact I haven’t watched it since 2001, so when I was in the WWE, I would record the show & fast-forward through it to my to critique it. It became about business to me, and I didn’t want to watch other people work. I see what they are doing, and I’m not impressed with al ot of what I see on TV. I see people going through movements, but they have no sense of art & pro wrestling is an art.” He continued by adding: “Can we get the wrestling business fun with Hulk Hogan in TNA? I don’t know but here’s one thing, part of why it’s not interesting to watch anymore is because it’s so routine & mundane. Every match from the beginning to the end, have to be ’superstar vs. superstar.’ They have to be treated like main events, they all have to go six or seven minutes, they have to back & forth all the time, and someone catches a fall. What happened to the jobber matches? Big John Studd would have a squash match with two or three guys, and then when he faced like Hulk Hogan, it meant something. But now every match, we have to see the babyface cry & sell, and the heel do his stuff, and the babyface make his big comeback. Every match? I don’t enjoy that.”

Impact (10/29) Insight
Our resident philosopher looks at what may go down as the true turning point episode of Impact. Major changes are about to happen on Thursdays

The landscape of TNA changed forever on Thursday. Hulk Hogan made his first appearance, along with Dixie Carter, since the news that rocked the wrestling world was announced (Hogan is now in TNA). Also, one of the key players in the X-Division and tag team division was badly injured during the show. In addition, Eric Young had a major announcement about his newly-won Legends title that would forever change the status of the title

TNA opened with a promo for Hogan and then went into the attack on Kurt Angle by Desmond Wolfe. Wolfe, who sounds like Baldrick (Tony Robinson) from Black Adder, attacked Angle, twice, last week.

Desmond came out to a wolf howl into a screaming guitar. Wolfe took the stick and introduced himself to the crowd. He said that he was just Wolfe to his friends, but the fans could call him Mr. Wolfe. He considered himself the “Only Thing”. He said he was raised to be the world’s greatest fighter. Wolfe felt that he was destined to be a champion, which is why he came to TNA. Wolfe said that Kurt Angle didn’t win his gold medal, it was given to him. Wolfe said Angle’s tough guy image is just a facade. Wolfe reminded Angle that he took the fight to him, twice, last week. Wolfe claimed that he became the greatest wrestler in TNA, last week.

Kurt Angle then came out to a great ovation. Angle said that he didn’t know Wolfe before, but he knows who he is now. Angle said he would eliminate Wolfe, tonight. Angle threw respect to A.J. Styles, Hernandez, Matt Morgan and Eric Young. He then told Wolfe that he made a mistake by challenging him. He said “no one comes in my backyard and p*sses in it”. Kurt challenged Wolfe to a Street Fight, later in the night. Angle swore he would beat Wolfe’s *ss like it had never been beaten before.

Lauren talked with Styles about being jumped, last week. Styles didn’t know who attacked him. Samoa Joe. walked in and accused Daniels of being the attacker. Joe stirred the pot by saying that Daniels has resentment and jealousy towards Styles. Styles wouldn’t buy it. Joe set Styles off by suggesting that Daniels was stabbing him in the back.

Awesome Kong was shown destroying Raisha Saeed’s locker room. This went down, last week. This week, Kong was unleashed, solo, for the first time. Mike Tenay and Taz started to run down the show but sent it to a video package of Dixie Carter and Hulk Hogan arriving for a historic press conference.

Alissa Flash was waiting in the ring. Tara, along with her pet spider, Poison, made their way down to face her. Tenay pushed the Knockouts in Muscle and Fitness. I’ve seen the issue out at the Pilot Truckstop in Fernley, NV and the women are beautiful.

Tara d Alissa Flash

The Finish:

Flash got caught on the top rope. The two women fought on the ropes and Tara nailed the Superplex. Tara hit a weak Spicoli Driver on Flash. Flash kicked out at two. Tara sent Flash to the ropes and hit a pair of Clotheslines. She followed up with a Snap Suplex. Flash hit a Pump Handle Suplex for a two. Flash cinched in modified Surfboard into a Curb Stomp. Tara lost some of her hair. Tara lifted Flash into a Fireman’s Carry into a spinning Side Slam. Call that…the Web Spinner!

Grade: B+

Jay’s Thoughts: I wish TNA would figure out what the heck they are going to do with Tara. She’s just spinning her wheels (or would that be her webs) so far.

Suddenly, Kong’s music sounded. Kong stormed the ring at a full run. Kong caught Tara in the face with a Full Boot. Kong used the Implant Buster and dropped Tara onto Flash. Kong mouthed “I’m Back”! Kong is out-of-control.

In the back, Team 3D talked about facing The Motor City Machine Guns. Rhino came in and talked about what Hernandez tried to do to him, last week. Rhino whined that TNA wanted to take him out. Rhino mentioned that he had to face Matt Morgan. It was all part of a conspiracy. Brother Ray said they were saving Hernandez from himself. Ray said Rhino was paranoid. Rhino said Team 3D stopped Hernandez because they believed him. Brother Devon said that he didn’t sweat The Guns. Rhino said for them to watch their backs because they are all out to get them.

Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley came out for the next match. I will have special notes about this match, after it’s over. TNA showed highlights of last week’s match between The Guns and Lethal Consequences. Team 3D then came out with their IWGP Tag titles.

The Motor City Machine Guns d Team 3D
Non-Title Match

The Finish:

Sabin went to the ropes and Ray caught him for a Uranage Sabin took one Hell of a bump as he landed directly on his neck from the move. Sabin spun a little too far in the move. Devon took the tag and lifted Sabin for a Press Slam. Shelley rushed in and clipped the knee of Devon. Devon gently dropped Sabin as he went down. Shelley took the tag and kicked at Devon’s bad leg. Sabin was down in the corner. The trainer was out checking on Sabin. Shelley with the Step-Over Toe Hold. Devon kicked free and tagged to Ray. Ray hit several hard fists and a Side Slam. Shelley with a Kneelift. Shelley flipped out of a Belly to Back Suplex and nailed a SuoerKick to Ray’s face. Ray kicked out at two. Devon took the tag and limped back into the ring. Devon went for his Amazing Grace Slam but Shelley flipped over. Shelley clipped Devon’s knee and took him down. Shelley went for the Single Leg Boston Crab. Devon slapped the mat in frustration, which the ref mistook for a tap out!

Grade: B+

Jay’s Thoughts: I hated to see Sabin take that nasty bump. Fortunately, he was only stunned (according to TNA) TNA cut Kevin Nash’s nasty rant about the injury. They had to cut something to make room the Hogan thing.

Ray was hot about the decision. The ref refused to reverse or cancel the decision.

In the back, Lauren chatted with Scott Steiner about his issue with Bobby Lashley. Lashley is demanding that Steiner apologize to Lashley’s wife, Crystal. Steiner said he was sorry…that Crystal didn’t know what a real man was. He said he was going to make Crystal his Number One Freak. Steiner said he would be watching Lashley’s match and he had a big surprise for Crystal.

Desmond Wolfe was lacing up his boots in the locker room. He was ready to fight Kurt, later in the night.

Tenay pushed the unique shows on TNA.com. Hermie Sadler interviewed Amazing Red and Don West. Red said he wanted West as his mouthpiece. West said that Red was a good model and he was all that was right about wrestling. I completely and totally agree!

Eric Young came out to defend his Legends title. Taz pushed Eric’s “Big Announcement”. TNA showed how Eric Young did over Kevin Nash to take the title. Nash’s opponent was Bobby Lashley! TNA showcased the situation between Scott Steiner and Bobby Lashley. Crystal Lashley was in the front row for this match.

Eric Young v Bobby Lashley (No Contest)
Legends Title Match

The Finish:

Eric rolled Lashley back into the ring. Eric Shouldered Lashley and slid between Lashley’s legs. Lashley caught Eric and powered him up into a Sideways Torture Rack Gutbuster. Lashley slapped on the Dragon Sleeper but Steiner slid in the ring with a chair. Steiner bashed Lashley with the chair and locked Lashley in the Steiner Recliner.

Grade: C

Jay’s Thoughts: So Steiner is now doing the old Rick Rude courts Cheryl Roberts angle, where the angered hubby, Jake Roberts, comes to battle the rude dude thing. Yawn. Steiner simply is no match for Lashley, period.

The rest of the World Elite joined Eric in the ring. They were all dressed in white, Elvis-like Jumpsuits. It was announced that the British Invasion have been suspended until Turning Point for striking the ref, last week. The Brits were also fined. Eric then took the stick and insulted the US fans. Eric reminded the fans that he just handed Bobby Lashley his first defeat. Huh? Eric was there to make a major announcement. Eric said that the Legends title was no more. It was now the TNA Global Championship. Eric said he would never defend the belt on American soil or against an American wrestler because the fans didn’t deserve him.

Kevin Nash then made his way from the back. Nah was carrying a steel chair. Nash wanted to know about the 60 Grand that Eric promised him. Eric smirked as Nash mentioned that he would not take Bashir’s offer of $50,000 Iranian Dollars (which Nash said was worth about $13.25). Nash wanted to know if this was how Eric did business. Eric said he learned from Nash, who had been doing the same thing for years. Eric said he was just making sure that he didn’t get screwed. Eric told Nash to join him in the ring. Beer Money slid in the ring and attacked the World Elite with chairs. Nash told Eric that he could run but couldn’t hide. The World Elite in their Good Humor uniforms were laid out around ringside.

In the locker room, Daniels walked up to Styles. styles dismissed Joe’s claims but Daniels took the wrong attitude. Daniels felt that Styles was doubting him. Daniels left to settle things with Joe.

The Beautiful People slinked from the back for a six-Knockout battle. This was Lacey Von Erich’s first official match. Velvet Sky, Madison Rayne and Lacey did their sexy ring entrance. The faces to face the Beautiful People were ODB, Christy Hemme and Hamada. TNA went to break before the match got rolling.

Lacey Von Erich, Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne d ODB, Hamada and Christy Hemme
Six Knockout Tag Team Match

The Finish:

Lacey tagged in and Hamada was powered to the corner. She instantly tagged back out to Rayne. Rayne tried to get pins. Sky tagged in and they missed the Double Clothesline. Hamada Dropkicked both Sky and Rayne. Hamada kicked free from the Beautiful People and tagged out to ODB. The Trailer Park Princess Steam Rolled Sky and Rayne and even got a shot in on Lacey. Sky was launched with the Fallaway Slam. ODB with the Kip Up and then checked on her “girls” before hitting a huge Splash in the corner. ODB hit a Bronco Buster and Tenay threw out some interesting new names for the move (Bronco Muncher and Carpet Buster). ODB with a Scoop Slam on Sky and tagged out to Hemme. Rayne took out ODB and Hemme missed the FFG. Sky made the tag to Lacey. Lacey hit one of the weakest Chokeslams in recent history, but it was still enough to get the win.

Grade: C

Jay’s Thoughts: Lacey finally works a match and doesn’t finish it with the Iron Claw? What the heck is up with that? She wins with a pathetic Chokeslam. Lacey lost major points with me on that match.

Kong’s music rang out, again. Kong stormed the ring. The Beautiful People took off. Tara jumped Kong and the two started fighting at ringside. The Security forces ran in and basically got their butts handed to them. Five men couldn’t keep the two women apart. TNA went to break.

The two women were still fighting in the back as TNA returned. TNA then looked at the issues with Abyss/Mick Foley/Dr. Stevie. The Monster’s Ball at Bound For Glory was one seriously brutal battle.

Dr. Stevie then came out for a no-DQ match. Stevie had a microphone. Stevie talked directly to Chris. Stevie said Chris created a monster in him when he hurt Daffney. Abyss didn’t have to be asked twice. Abyss stomped down the ramp and took the battle to Stevie.

Abyss d Dr. Stevie
No Disqualification, Weapons Match

Abyss threw Stevie in the ring. Stevie punched Abyss, who shook it off. Stevie ducked a Clothesline and kicked the shin of Abyss. Stevie went to the ropes and got Clotheslined. Abyss tossed Stevie over the top rope and into the ring barricade. Abyss went to the outside and slammed Stevie’s face into the steel steps. Abyss punched Stevie in the face and Knife Edge Chopped him. Abyss threw Stevie into the ring and told the cameraman to move. Abyss tossed trash cans into the ring. Both cans struck Stevie. Stevie got a chair and threw it into Abyss’ face. Stevie bashed Abyss with a hockey stick. Stevie worked over Abyss’s leg. Stevie tried for a Figure Four but Abyss kicked free. Stevie went for a Tornado DDT but Abyss shoved out. Stevie went for his Stevie Kick (Superkick) but Abyss caught the foot and turned it into the Shock Treatment for the win.

Grade: B-

Jay’s Thoughts: Boring. How can an Extreme Rules be boring? This one was.

Stevie attacked Abyss with a kendo stick, after the match. Mick Foley’s music then played. Foley stomped down to the ring. Foley called for the kendo stick. Instead of nailing Abyss, Foley struck Dr. Stevie! Foley then slid out of the ring. Everyone was confused, none more than Dr. Stevie. Tenay called for JB to talk with Foley as TNA took a break.

JB tried to ask Foley what was going on. Foley would not comment. Foley just laughed and said the situation was just between him and Abyss and that was all the people needed to know. Foley did a Baron Von Raschke imitation, according to Tenay.

Rhino came to the ring for his match. TNA looked at the situation with Hernandez, from last week. Matt Morgan then came out to fight.

Matt Morgan d Rhino

Rhino kicked and punched Morgan. Rhino went to the ropes and ended up running into the brick wall that was Morgan. Morgan popped Rhino and the War Machine fell into the ropes. Morgan hit the Leg Lariat and slid over the ropes. Rhino knocked Morgan off the apron and the two stated fighting on the floor. Rhino and Morgan got in the ring and Rhino went to town on Morgan with kicks and fists. Rhino pounded on Morgan’s back. Tenay brought up the connection between Morgan and Hogan through American Gladiators. Rhino pounded on Morgan in the corner. Morgan with a Back Elbow and a pair of Clotheslines. Morgan with the Side Drop. Morgan Goozled Rhino but Rhino fought free. Rhino hit a Belly to Belly Suplex. Rhino set for The Gore! but ran into the Carbon Footprint! Morgan took the easy pin.

Grade: B

Jay’s Thoughts: And again Rhino jobs to someone. Sad, isn’t it?

Rhino jumped Morgan, after the bell. He hit another Belly to Belly and hit The Gore! Rhino celebrated his attack on Morgan. Morgan clutched his ribs as Hernandez’s music rang out. Rhino took off when SuperMex entered the ring. Rhino grabbed a stick and said only the strong survive. Rhino said no one would take him out. Hernandez lifted Morgan’s hand in victory.

Daniels confronted Samoa Joe. Daniels said he didn’t attack Styles and Joe should know that. Joe stirred the pot by saying that Styles rolled his eyes when Joe suggested that Daniels could hurt him. Joe said that Styles felt that Daniels wasn’t even in his (Styles’) league.

Don West ran down some upcoming cards. He was interrupted by Homicide. Homicide demanded a shot at Amazing Red at Turning Point. Homicide took West’s wallet, stealing a picture of his wife and his money.

JB then talked with Kurt Angle. JB noticed that Kurt was ticked off. Angle said that Wolfe would reach a dead end, tonight. JB suggested that someone brought in Wolfe to take out Kurt. Kurt said JB was just being paranoid.

Lauren ran up and found A.J. Styles, who had been jumped. Styles was out cold. After the break, Lauren said that Styles was being taken to a local hospital to evaluation.

Kurt Angle then rose from the depths of the Impact Zone. Kurt stomped to the ring with a look of determination on his face. The wolf howl went off against to herald the arrival of Desmond Wolfe.

Kurt Angle v Desmond Wolfe (No Contest)

The Finish:

Kurt ran Wolfe into the steel steps. Kurt punched away and chased Wolfe around the ring. Kurt slammed Wolfe into the barrier and tried to throw him into the ring. Wolfe came out with a Back Elbow. Wolfe threw Kurt into the ring. Wolfe threw a brutal Fore-arm Shot and another European Uppercut. Wolfe slapped Kurt in the face. Kurt started punching the Londoner. Wolfe grabbed Kurt’s arm and Power Snapped him down to the mat. Wolfe went for his Clothesline finisher but Kurt ducked an hit the Hat Trick German Suplex. Wolfe came out of nowhere with hit Lariat. Kurt was out. Wolfe screamed at Kurt. Wolfe grabbed the ref and moved him out of the way. Wolfe rolled over Kurt and screamed at him. Wolfe swore he would end Kurt’s career.

Grade: B-

Jay’s Thoughts: So wolfe is a cross between William Regal and JBL? He’s already annoying as all get out to me. Is he going to replace Eric Young as the leader of the World Elite? Is there some dark force working behind the scenes to lead him? This and more on future episodes of “As the Stomach Turns”. Nigel should have taken the WWE offer.

Mike Tenay stated that Chris Sabin was not hurt as bad as originally thought. The commentary was recorded on Thursday morning, while doing the updated commentary for the show. The original show was taped a week back. Sabin did not have a severe neck injury, which is what it originally looked like. TNA went to break before the Hogan press conference.

Eric Bischoff introduced Hulk Hogan. Bischoff is also coming to TNA. Hogan came out and worked the crowd, big time. Hogan introduced his business partner, Dixie Carter. Dixie pushed Hogan’s legacy. Hogan said he felt reborn by his partnership with TNA> They then brought out the head guy from SpikeTV. He was thrilled that Hogan was in the company. Hogan said that he wanted to make TNA bigger than any other wrestling organization (jab at WWE?). Hogan compared TNA to WCW. Hogan avoided saying what his role would be in TNA, wrestler or other position.

Jay’s Thoughts: Bischoff, Hogan, Nash and Russo all working together, again? That sends shivers down my spine and not in a positive way. Somebody call Vinny Mac, there may be a new acquisition in the near future. There is an old saying about learning from our mistakes or we will repeat them. When will they remane the show TNA Thunder?

Final Grade: B-

Final Thoughts: It’s pretty pathetic when they push a major announcement for the whole show and the silly segment gets less than 5 minutes of air time. I think Carter and the Jarretts just signed the death certificate for TNA by bringing in Bischoff and Hogan. They just lost that something special that made them stand out from WWE. Heck, why not get Dusty Rhodes on the phone and bring him in as a booker and totally kill TNA? Ok, now I’m officially cranky.

PAUL ROMA FIRES BACK AT TED DIBIASE, CITES SPECIFIC SLEAZY STORYLINES WWE HAS DONE SINCE DIBIASE’S RETURN, HOW HIS STATEMENT PROVES HE’S STILL ALL ABOUT MONEY, AND MORE By WorldWrestlingInsanity.com

Get ready to hear the show that everyone’s talking about. No one is safe as the one and only Paul Roma joins ClubWWI.com for an audio event unlike any other. It’s so Notorious, it’s …” GLORIOUS!”

Paul’s last show rattled cages all over the wrestling business. Roma tore into Ted DiBiase for his WWE return and the Million Dollar Man fired back with a statement of his own. Now the former WCW Tag Champ responds and he has many examples to cite. Plus, plenty more hard-hitting topics that will be sure to leave your mouth hanging open only ClubWWI.com including: The Reason Ted Responded, Eric Bischoff: Moron, The “Sad Pathetic Joke” of Women’s Wrestling, Hulk Hogan’s “Attempted” Suicide, Billy Kidman’s Morphine Gimmick, The Wrestler Who Wanted The IC Title Win Instead of Honky Tonk Man, When Steve Austin Told Him That He Was Jumping To WWF, What Ted Turner Said About Selling To Vince McMahon Free (and Frank) Advice To WWE, Randy Orton Saying That Eddie Guerrero’s In Hell, The Infamous WCW Musical Belts Orlando Tapings, Turning On Arn Anderson, When Triple H Looks Like Ultimate Warrior’s Genitals, The Original ECW, Stone Cold’s Rolling Stone Article, Rick Rude, Paul Orndorff, Ted DiBiase Jr, and More Full list is up at: http://www.worldwrestlinginsanity.com/am2/publish/newsnotes/Glorious4.shtml

Is it controversial? Well, would the fact that, among many other things, Paul said that Triple H, when posing, looked like the Ultimate Warrior’s penis answer your question? It’s just one of Paul’s many opinions that are presented unfiltered on Glorious.

As many fans know, a few weeks ago Paul took to ClubWWI.com and when talking about Ted DiBiase Jr in WWE, turned his attention to another former Club guest Ted Sr – The Million Dollar Man. Roma pointed to Ted’s issues with WWE years ago and his vows to never return for moral reasons. When he did, Paul said that DiBiase did it all for the thing he cares most about – Money.

Having heard these comments, Ted DiBiase responded with a statement about WWE’s changing programming and how kid friendly they’ve become through the years. Pointing to Vince McMahon’s new drug policy, Ted defended the company he works for and added that one day soon, his son would be The Million Dollar Man thanks to them. Roma read the statement and now, after some research, he’s come to ClubWWI.com to respond:

“He has a right to defend himself, which is fine. And this isn’t me against him. But, with that being said, in his response to what I said, he said a few things that aren’t true. He also said at the end of his response that he gave his son his blessing and The Million Dollar Man would be his son in the not-so-distant future. So, again, it’s all about money.”

James agrees with Paul’s point about the closing of DiBiase’s response. It seemed counterproductive to release a statement to defend yourself against accusations that you’re preoccupied with money and then end with a line about how one day your son will be rich. It seemed strange.

“Exactly, so he tried to defend himself, but in the end, the truth came out. It is all about money. And that’s OK, you know? You are who you are. If you’re a hypocrite, you’re a hypocrite. Just, you know, deal with it, man. Don’t come firing back at me like you’re this patron saint when you’re not.”

Guttman jumps in and says that DiBiase didn’t have to respond and, when he did, he didn’t need to defend WWE as strongly as he did. If Ted had simply said, “I went back because I chose to.” That would have been fine. But instead it turned into a long statement on WWE’s kinder and gentler side. Paul has his own theory on why Ted responded, the reason why people with Vince McMahon try to defend the company, others in his position, the mentality that he’s doing anything to help change the product, the mindset of many life-long wrestlers, and more. He goes into all that on ClubWWI.com and that’s when he shows the research he’s done and starts hitting back at DiBiase’s claims that the company has been toning down it’s offensive style since his return in 2005…

“Yeah. The other thing is that how he says he’s there, he’s making a change. Listen, you’re not making a difference. OK? Let’ s just get that straight. Let’s go over a few things here. I did a little research and (James) knows what it is. In 2006, you know, Vince (McMahon) was mocking God in a church. You have “Live Sex” on Raw – again, 2006. You have Randy Orton telling Rey Mysterio that Eddie Guerrero, who just passed away, is in hell. Now, I don’t think Randy meant that. As a matter of fact, I know he didn’t mean that. But with that said, it’s still the family that hears it or maybe Guerrero’s children hear it. You know, while you think that’s okay and working an angle, you don’t care about Guerrero’s family and how you’re hurting them or their children in saying this. Is it really worth an angle? Is that really going to get those people in the seats? Can Ted DiBiase change that? No. He doesn’t have that kind of juice to change it. He does what they tell him to do. That’s why he’s there. Otherwise he wouldn’t be there. If he set up a deal with them saying, ‘This is how it’s going to be,’ it wouldn’t be the way it is.”

Roma’s hard-hitting ClubWWI.com audio show doesn’t end there. He takes aim at many others including The McMahon Family, Eric Bischoff, Triple H, Hulk Hogan, Billy Kidman, Women’s Wrestling, ECW, WCW, and much more. It’s the audio everyone is talking about and now you can hear the full 51 minute right now only on ClubWWI!

Tony Anthony and James Guttman speak at length about the wrestling industry in general and how it has changed in the 29 years since Tony debuted. One thing Anthony always focused on was his character. No matter what role he played, he worked to make it believable. Case in point – T.L. Hopper. Despite his short run as WWF’s resident plumber in the mid-90s, the gimmick is still remembered today. James asks how it came about and Tony gives the back story to ClubWWI.com listeners…

“Everybody heard Dusty Rhodes (doing a Dusty impression) – I’m a plumber’s son, workin’ in the ditches, baby. Well that’s a bunch of garbage. I actually was a plumber’s son. My father owns his own company and basically from the time I could walk, I was going to work. My daddy’s my best buddy in the whole darn world. I always wanted to be with my daddy, so he put me to work. So I’d go to work with him and (WWF) said OK. So that’s where the plumber is from. I wasn’t really big on that.”

Tony talks about how Cornette’s debts lead to that debut, the meeting that brought him in, and more. Guttman mentions that the quick run was surprising and asks Tony if it came as a shock that it didn’t last longer. It wasn’t.

“I knew my spot. I knew what it was. I knew it wasn’t going anywhere. Vince had no intentions of pushing it or anything like that and I knew that. I was there basically for a payday.”

That didn’t end his time with WWF, though. After a brief while, he came back as Uncle Cletus, manager to the Godwinns. Tony talks about the role Hillbilly Jim played in that debut, working with the Godwinns, his new character, and more. But he also talks about the end. It was sudden and, as he explains on ClubWWI.com, it all ended with Vince Russo…

“I can honestly say that I managed the tag team champion in the WWF. That was a lot of fun and then, I think it was Vince Russo come up and convince Vince (McMahon) that people don’t wear bib overalls in the real world. Well obviously, he’s never got his feet off concrete. Because, buddy, I know people around here. Older gentlemen go to church and they’ve got their Sunday Go-To-Meetin’ bib overalls on. And I mean, you know, I think the fact is that they wanted to bust (me and Godwinns) up.”

The clashes didn’t end there. The man from New Yawk and the overall-wearing Southern Boy had a number of run-ins including this one that gave them both a better idea of where they stand:

“He kinda had a smart mouth and I’m the type of person where, you know, you’re not going to get the better of me running your mouth. So I’d fire back at him and he looked at me one day and I said, ‘You damn yankee bastard.’ (Russo replied) ‘Well you’re a damn rebel bastard!’ I said, ‘There ya go.’ (laughs) I said, ‘OK. There’s our relationship, buddy!”

The full 46 minute shoot is up on ClubWWI.com right now and along with 200 stars, you’ll have plenty of superstars to put on your Ipod, Phone, burn to CD, or just listen through your computer.

Online World of Wrestling is proud to present OWW Radio hosted by Nick Anthony, joined weekly by Dave “Kaveman” Kave with This Week in Wrestling History and Aaron “TNA” Kendrick with the Match of the Week. In this show Nick and Producer Scott (NDX) speak with Bret “The Hitman” Hart, the legendary in ring technician with success in the top wrestling promotions.

Heene Family Balloon Hoax Story (7:20)
Before the Bret Hart interview Nick and Aaron discuss the incidents that occurred last week that involved the Heene Family and “Bubble Boy.” The story made national, headlines if not global. Nick and Aaron discussed the family’s background and the interview conducted by Wolf Blitzer on CNN’s Larry King Live and MSNBC’s The ED Show. Nick stated in the segment that he hopes the legal system in Colorado bankrupts the Heene family.

Bound For Glory (21:09)
Nick and Aaron switch gears following the Bubble Boy issue, focusing on TNA Bound For Glory. Nick’s main point of interest focused on the main event AJ Styles vs. Sting for the TNA Championship. Nick then asked the question “Do you think Sting is over rated?” – in which Aaron debated Nick on the issue. Nick believes that Sting hadn’t had many noticeable feuds in his career. He brought up Hogan, Flair, Luger and Terry Funk. Aaron claimed that Sting carried the WCW and kept it afloat for all the past years. However Nick would claim it was the Horseman. The debate ended when Nick asked for the listeners to join the conversation at radio@onlineworldofwrestling.com.

Following that debate Nick and Aaron talk about the 20 minute match between A.J. and Kurt on TNA’s iMPACT prior to Bound for Glory.

News Segment (32:17)
The News segment kicks off with John Lennon’s Beautiful Boy bringing us in from break. Nick and Aaron talk briefly about “Mr. Holland’s Opus,” then Wolf Blitzer and conservatives. In the segment the current top news in the industry was talked about the latest news as of Tuesday Night October 20, 2009.

Bret “The Hitman” Hart Interview (58:40)
Nick introduced Bret Hart in this segment, and began by asking Bret where would he be without Professional Wrestling? Some of the highlights of the interview include Bret talking about Gorilla Monsoon and the impact he had on his career. Bret would also mention in the interview that HHH and Shawn are cancers to the industry when the three were talking about the entertainment side of the business. Bret then would compare himself to John Cena stating that he was always a company guy, much like Cena and all about the team effort. Nick would disagree with Bret on his statement about Cena, then Bret clarifies. Scott “NDX” (OWW Radio Producer) would join Nick in the interview asking Bret about the comparison of the territory days to the indies of today. The interview ran 25 minutes long and ended with Bret saying, “You’re listening to OWW Radio.”

Interview recap/Match of the Week/This Week In Wrestling History (1:24:54)
Bob Marley’s “We Jammin” brings us back from break Aaron returns with Nick to talk about ECW and Tony Atlas, the Bret Hart Interview and his feature “The Match of the Week.” In the feature, the TNA iMPACT 20 minute draw between Styles and Angle was awarded. Aaron sparked a debate on why TNA would have such a great match before a big PPV that may or may not have out shined the event or that events title match between Styles and Sting. Nick claimed that it was a great move by TNA as we can look forward to an A.J. vs. Kurt feud brewing before the next PPV.

Healthcare/Autism in America (1:33:59)
Also in this segment Nick merges his genres of Talk Radio again. Bringing up Autism and the Healthcare situation in America. Nick goes on a rant about Doctors sticking babies with shots when they aren’t even 1-3 hours old. He claimed that the US Government knows about it and yet refuses to do anything about it. He brought up facts stating that the shots contain huge doses of mercury which are a direct cause of Autism. Nick then states he only hopes that President Obama’s Healthcare bill passes. He then apologies for his rant and returns to Wrestling Talk.

This Week In Wrestling History (1:38:40)
This Week in Wrestling History is a review of past wrestling events that occurred this week. Nick ran down WCW events such as “Halloween Havoc.” Also birthdays for example Hawk of the Legion of Doom and D’Lo Brown. Aaron and Nick also include sound bytes and their takes on such events. You can be apart and share your thoughts and opinions on This Week in Wrestling History Live with the crew by expressing your desire to do so.
