The ROH World Title holds a very special place in the wrestling industry. The ROH belt isn’t about who plays politics or who is friends with the writers or who looks good under fancy pyrotechnics. The ROH World Title signifies the best the sport of pro wrestling has to offer. We can back that statement up.

Since Samoa Joe made the ROH strap into a World Title on May 17th, 2003, there have been eight individuals that have held the belt. Each forged their own legacy with the ROH World Title. Now they have risen to the top throughout the entire wrestling world. Need proof?

FIERRO: RAW GETS PUNKED!

That’s what I’m talking about!

Last night was the best episode of Monday Night Raw in lord knows how many years. Everything on last night’s show was done perfectly. From CM Punk cashing in his MITB to Jamie Noble’s skit with Kane to Cryme Tyme coming out with John Cena. It was like they put everything they had into a bucket, shook it up, and came up with something totally new and different.

When I post this column each July 4th holiday, I remember how many years it’s been since the death of former WWF referee Joey Marella in an automobile accident on the New Jersey Turnpike, while traveling to Newark, NJ from a WWF show in Ocean City, MD.

During the June 16th edition of the Countdown To Raw show on The Score in Canada, host Glenn Schiiler interviewed Vince McMahon. Below are some of the comments.GS: Canadian fans aren’t eligible to win your millions, but I think people in this country still want to know. How did this idea come about? Did you just wake up one morning and say “You know what? I feel like giving away some money!”?

VM: Quite frankly, that’s about it. I mean the things that come out of my head sometimes…sometimes even I can’t believe them and this is not necessarily one of my better ideas, giving away my personal money, and it’s a total of a million dollars every Monday night. Last week, we had one lady from Texas win $2 and we had another gentleman from Wisconsin win $250,000 and I must admit it gave me more pleasure to give away the $2 than it did the $250,000.
