My No Mercy Predictions

Our resident philosopher, Jay Shannon, breaks out his crystal ball and tea leaves to try and sort out WWE’s October Pay-Per-View

The WWE is back with yet another PPV that will either be fantastic or awful. The Smackdown prior to No Mercy actually looks better than the PPV. That being said, I do think the matches will be strong and exciting. I want to go through them one-on-one and try my best to predict the whos, whats, and hows of this mid-level PPV.

OWW’s Wrestlers of the Week — Los Colons: Carlito and Primo Colon

Our resident philosopher, Jay Shannon, bestows this week’s OWW Wrestler(s) of the Week award on the new WWE tag team champions, Carlito and Primo Colon.

The world of wrestling has been filled with brother teams. The Funks, Harts, Von Erichs, Windhams, Steiners and many other families have had siblings unite in the ring wars. The latest brother pair to work inside the squared circle together are Carlito (Carly) and Primo (Eddie) Colon. The brothers upended the WWE tag champions on Friday Night Smackdown to capture the gold. Carlito and Primo now share the tag titles. They also share this week’s OWW Wrestler(s) of the Week award.

Jim Ross and Matt Striker welcomed the home audience to ECW. Todd Grisham is taking a leave to attend to some family issues. Jim showed a lot of class by praising Matt Striker for his educational background. Matt told JR that he felt honored to be next to a Hall of Famer. Matt Striker is my favorite announcer in the business, currently.
