JAPW November To Remember review

Sunset Flip Presents
JAPW November To Remember

By Jim Boy Star

This past Saturday, there were two pro wrestling events going on in my area. Ironically, they were probably about the same distance away from my house. One was Evolve Wrestling, which I have written reviews for on this site before. The other was Jersey All Pro Wrestling’s November to Remember.

I decided to go to Jersey All Pro Wrestling’s November to Remember. Originally Dan Maff was supposed to fight Teddy Hart in the main event. However, that was changed and the change made me go to this show and I am very glad that it did. This is not to say I hate Teddy Hart, but I thought the change made it more interesting.

NWA Anarchy Fright Night results 10/30

NWA ANARCHY FRIGHT NIGHT 2010 10-30 – by LARRY GOODMAN

——————————————————————————–

NWA Anarchy came through with their best big show performance of 2010 at the 12th annual Fright Night in Cornelia.

New Wave and Talent & Money tore the house down with an insanely spectacular bloodbath of a cage match. It was the finale of a the best pure tag team feud in NWA Anarchy history, and they went out on a high note with a match-of-the-year candidate, the kind where you wonder if the participants will ever be the same, and one that totally erased the memory of the subpar War Games match three months ago.

Martinez defends WSU title for 31st time

Mercedes Martinez Defends
WSU World Championship
For the record 31st Time

What more can we here at Women Superstars Uncensored (WSU) say about Mercedes Martinez? Mercedes Martinez, the greatest womens wrestler today, defended the WSU World Championship for a record 31st time this past Saturday night. Mercedes Martinez has made more defenses of her WSU World Title than any other woman champion today. Martinez is the longest reigning champion in womens wrestling right now and without a shadow of a doubt has made the WSU World Title the most prestigious championship in all of womens wrestling today.

At ACE Pro Wrestling, on 10/16, Martinez defended her world title against the WSU Tag Team Champions, Jana & Cindy Rogers, in a triple threat match. The match started off as one would expect, as Jana & Rogers took turns beating down the fighting champion. However, Martinez would fight back and eventually neutralize her opponent’s advantage.

WSU News: Orsini Crashes IndyGurlz Show

WSU On The Road Update

This past Saturday, on 9/18/2010, WSU returned to Boonton, NJ as part of our working relationship with NHPW’s Indygurlz promotion. WSU congratulates WSU World Champion Mercedes Martinez on racking up another championship, as Martinez defeated Sara Del Rey in the finals of a tournament to crown the new Indygurlz Champion.

In footage that will appear on an upcoming WSU “On The Road” DVD, the unsanctioned WSU “All Guts, No Glory” Champion, Angel Orsini, decided to crash the show. Orsini said she felt disrespected that the WSU World Champion (Mercedes Martinez), the WSU Spirit Champion (Brittney Savage) & 1/2 of the WSU Tag Champions (Jana) were all booked for this tournament, but she was not.

Wrestling for a Cause Results 9/10

Courtesy of Alan J. Wojcik and www.owwradio.com

On FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 10, 2010, WRESTLING FOR A CAUSE PRESENTED WRESTLE WAR 2010 at the SCOTTISH RITE MASONIC CENTER, 5500 MEMORIAL HIGHWAY in TAMPA, FL. The event benefited the Town N Country Packers.

(1) Jerome Hendrix defeated “Latin Lover” Ricky Romeo.

Romeo was not too pleased the fans were behind Hendrix so he tried to win them over and failed miserably. Romeo got backed to a neural corner twice and on the break slapped his hands claiming he had been punched. The third time it backfired as referee Billy Dalton saw it all go down. Hendrix took over with three bodyslams and slid to the floor. Hendrix followed and paid when they got back in as Romeo was waiting to drop a boot on his head. Romeo went to work on Hendrix using every dirty trick you can think. The bad part was none of it led to a pinfall or submission. Romeo avoided a corner cross body press and hit his finishing spinebuster but got only two. Hendrix scored a sunset flip for two after referee Dalton kicked his hands off the ropes. As Romeo argued with the referee, Hendrix scored a rollup pinfall that led to an in-ring temper tantrum from Romeo.

NWA Anarchy Hostile Environment Report

7/31 NWA Anarchy Hostile Environment Live Report

By Larry Goodman

——————————————————————————–

NWA Anarchy celebrated their 5th anniversary with Hostile Environment 2010 featuring the annual War Games match on a steamy Saturday night in Cornelia, Georgia.  On the plus side, the show drew close to 200 people at $20 each, the largest gate for a major Anarchy show since Fright Night 2008 (Hardcore Hell ’09 drew a few more people but I believe tickets were $15). It was very hot crowd, reminiscent of Anarchy’s early days.
