In the WWE today, there is a lack of talented wrestlers. I mean you have many fan favorites but you have a lack of good wrestling. I am a fan of seeing talented wrestlers in the ring doing what they do best. I guess you can say I miss the good old days of wrestling. I am talking about back when it wasn't such a soap opera. I love the WWE and always will no matter what. I actually love all wrestling but I have been a diehard WWE fan for my entire life, I grew up with it.

I recently started paying some more attention to TNA hoping to see some good wrestling. I have heard from others that some of the wrestlers in TNA have some real skill, and that they don't run their show like a soap opera. I have always watched some TNA but now I have started paying more attention hoping to see actual wrestling. I was saddened to see that they were wrong, real wrestling may be gone forever. I tuned in to see guys like Sting and AJ Styles performing to their best ability and have found none of that. I found the squash match with Monty Brown, the Jeff Jarrett promo in which all he does is complain, when he's done ranting and raving you see Kevin Nash who wrestles cruiserweights, or should I say "X Division" wrestlers. I see wrestling changing and not for the better. People have told me that TNA is the alternative to the WWE and they run things different over there, I found that to be false. I also am seeing each and every week TNA becoming more and more like the WWE. All I want to do is see good wrestling. Is that too much to ask" You would think you may get good wrestling on a PPV that you shell out $40 for, but no you get the same junk. None of the matches keep you on the edge of your seat anymore and it's sad. I will always watch wrestling until the day I day so I guess it is silly to complain but the facts are wrestling has changed over the years. I don't know if it will ever be the way it used to be.
I see one man as the exception, one man that could change the wrestling industry. This man is the greatest in ring wrestling performer in the world today. That man is Kurt Angle; the sad thing is that he is currently out of action. For what, I don't know for sure. When I look back at the past few years in wrestling I see very few classic matches. Most of my favorite matches over the last few years have had Kurt Angle in them. For instance, the match he had against Undertaker at No Way Out 2006, that match was action packed. Another would be the match he had with Rey Mysterio in his last match on SmackDown, which was also a classic SmackDown match. I miss the great matches that I remember watching growing up. Kurt Angle is old school I guess; he is a technician in the ring. I mean Benoit is very similar but he is out for a while too I guess. I remember the Ultimate Submission match them two had a few years back that was unbelievable.
Someday I hope we will see changes, right now I don't see any on the horizon. I am only seventeen but I always go out and find all the matches that people talk about from the seventies and eighties. I wish wrestling was like that today. I just feel I grew up in the wrong generation of wrestling.

Two thigs...number 1 i agree with u that wrestling today is about soap operas.
Number 2 Ialso agree with you that Kurt Angle is an exception in wrestling today but you can't seriously say that he's the only one that wrestles nowadays, because let me tell you that there are a few who i can name that wrestle like if not better than Angle...Benoit for example is one of the best the industry has ever seen,he has given his life and body to wrestling and putting on one hell of a show. Now the other two i will mention are not exactly the best but they combine what you call soap opers wrestling and real wrestling together to give a great match, and they are HBK and HHH and some might say the Undertaker(even though he has now outlived his time in the WWE) and Shelton Benjamin.
