Born in Calgary, AB but moved to the States in his teens. As a young kid he saved up his cash to purchase a VCR so he could tape wrestling on TV (since wrestling was on during school hours or at 1 AM). Johnny would do moonsaults from the monkey bars at school and got sent to the principals office for bringing hedge clippers to school and cutting some kids hair at recess.

Johnny had 2 life ambitions growing up, hockey player and wrestler. An ACL injury cut both dreams short and Johnny had to face reality. After numerous jobs such as Fed EX, bouncer and sports director he decided to teach grade school and tries to educate his class on wrestlings past between lessons.

Johnny tolerates the current state of wrestling but would rather watch old wrestling tapes instead.
