The second competitor entered into the 17th Annual ECWA Super 8 Tournament on April 13, 2013 in Newark, Delaware is current ROH star and a former WWE Tag Team Champion, Mike Mondo!
Mike Mondo, who spent time in OVW developmental, was a part of the Spirit Squad as Mikey in WWE. In the WWE, he and Kenny (Ken Doane) as the Spirit Squad defeated Big Show and Kane for the WWE Tag Titles. He also main evented a WWE PPV with his Spirit Squad team mates against DX, Triple H and Shawn Michaels!
Most recently, Mondo has reinvented himself, moving away from the Spirit Squad persona, to the hard hitting, unrelenting “NO FEAR” Mike Mondo, where he recently had an excellent ROH TV Title Match against champion and former 2011 Super Finalist, Adam Cole. Mondo comes to the Super 8 looking to fulfill one of his career goals of winning the prestigious tournament and joining other greats such as Christopher Daniels, Aden Chambers, Petey Williams, Tommaso Ciampa, Papadon, Low Ki, Davey Richards and more!
Mondo joins former 3-time ECWA Unified Tag Team Champion Damian Dragon in the 17th Annual Super 8 at the Greater Newark Boys & Girls Club in Delaware on Apr 13, 2013!
