Nick Anthony is a well respected individual
Default In Memory of Beverly "BJ" Race

I just got word that Beverly “BJ” Race has passed away. The news crippled me as if she was a relative. What a nice caring person who treated me like I was apart of the Frat this past April at the CAC in Las Vegas. I wrote in a recap of the days events back on April 15, 2009, “Daniel (Truth) is on the line with me and Harley Race is sitting 10 feet away from me. Prior to this his wife B.J. Race and I have a friendly conversation about the New York Times. Funny right? I’m speaking to Harley Race’s wife about a newspaper and it wasn’t till the end of the conversation that we even mentioned Harley, and although the event is not over till tomorrow evening. This little conversation with B.J. will be remembered you better believe it.” That’s the impact she had on me. Beverly and I would laugh and occasionally Harley would look over almost jealous like it seemed as though he was thinking “what in the world is he and my wife talking about.” Later I would make my way to Harley and inform him on the topic of his wife and my conversation. He then ask “which way is the bathroom” and that was the end of that. Harley and I would have other conversations and they were great.

Harley loved his wife so much as well as others in the business. Legend after Legend alike all spoke about BJ just as much as Harley. Younger wrestlers echoed the room with praise for her and how she was there for them as well as Harley but they made it their priority to mention BJ. I am saddened by this news but I am pleased that all aches housed in her body have been suppressed. My thoughts and prayers are with this family and BJ’s wrestling family as well.

On behalf of OWW Radio it’s staff and myself, Harley we are praying you through this difficult time. May God continue to Bless the Race Family.
